Remember: Silva was manipulating Killua too. He make Killua promise not to betray Gon because he knew that he *would* betray Gon, and made him promise so that this failure would break him and drive him back to the Zoldyke estate.
True, I didnt pick up on that detail, but obviously He knew about Illumis needle, perhaps it was even on His order. I cannot stress enough that Silva and Xeno, even though they seem rather reasonable and even comparitively decent at times, they are the ones perpetuating the toxic structures Killua is raised in. Silva said He raised Killua as his father, Xeno raised him. So with torture, repressing of emotions, as a cold hearted Killer. Now I am Not personally judging anyone from this Family, but I cannot stand when people say Xeno is actually a decent person for an assassin. He's Not a Monster, but If you are Mad at illumi for controlling Killua or at anyone else in the family, you should be mad at xeno too.
i love both Kirua and Gon, 2 of my favorite character ever, Gon is a little cliché, but unlike his counterpart, he failed as a MC(which is genius), he failed to overcomed his issue and fell into darkness, at the same moment Kirua rise as a worthy MC, Gon was the light of Kirua, and Kirua became the light of Ikalgo
Well, he's 13 already. The show starts in the hunter exam where Gon and Killua are both said to be 12. Then later in the greed island arc, Killua retakes the hunter exam, which is held once a year, so one year has passed and Killua has to have turned 13 at some point inbetween the two exams.
I believe that saying Killua killed Bodoro to lash out in his anger is completely wrong. The popular belief is that Killua killed him under the manipulation of Illumi basically. There is nothing to suggest he's killing out of anger here either because we saw him do that already in the exam, when he killed those 2 random guys that bump him in the hallway after his attempt to get the ball from Netero. He kills them and has a very emotional expression on his face. Being very obviuously pissed and just lashing out. But when he killed Bodoro, he looked utterly emotionlessand his eyes were blank. We never see him like this when he acts on his own. The closest we get are his cold eyes and his emotionless actions when he switches into killed mode. His eyes are never THAT blank though, which again leads to the popular belief that the kill on Bodoro is still due to Illumis manipulation. And either way, those killer moments we get are never out of anger, but when Killua makes sure to kill as efficiently and cold as he can. Why would he do THAT specifically on Bodoro? There is no good reason, there is no reason at all. He's not venting any emotion, he has no actual reason to assasinate Bodoro, so what is going on? Most likely Illumi testing his control over Killua by making him kill an innocent bystander that is inconsequential to Killuas emotions. So Illumi didn't make Killua kill anyone that Killua cared about, and he also made Killua interfere in a match to get him to fail the exam. 2 birds with one stone. So Bodoro was the next possible target, since killing Leorio would end up increasing Killuas resentment for Illumi. So only Bodoro was an option. That's it. Dude was just killed for Illumis power demonstration over Killua.
Killua is not my favorite character because how cool he is but because how relatable and loving he is he is a character who had his struggles he had a good heart in a dark world
Just to clarify kite never told them if they used a different card it would have taken them to Ging. We only know that because of a flashback convo between ging and etma(greed island intro lady). Also killua was #1219 so there were way more than 400 people. Not sure where you got that number from
I think that number probably came from the rule that only 300 to 400 applicants would be allowed to move onto the next round, so the fact that Killua easily beat that amount showed he was strong enough (and knew enough Nen) to pass on the spot; Since lack of Nen is the reason most need to be tested in multiple differing stages. So you're right, from what I can remember there was supposedly between 1200-1500 people taking that specific exam.

it’s over the course of the show, and i think it’s quite cleaver because i never noticed it until someone pointed it out to me. i think gon’s voice gets deeper too, and it’s because they get older over the course of the show.

Interesting analysis. I never thought about him being mind controlled while killing Bodoro and it all makes sense now

Happy you liked it :D
If he didn't kill Bodoro he would've have to fight Leorio, which wasn't an option.
He has the word Kill in his name. He has to be cool.
I can tell this channel is gonna go far keep up the good work it’ll all show one day 👍
