    I'm from NE North Carolina where we were taught to speak with an Old Eglish brogue as a result of our rich settlement history, and I love being questioned by Bostonian friends!

    I spose really before deciding on the pronunciation of a word we should discover if it’s a fruit or a vegetable?

    I have a random question. If i had a surplus of brass for a particular rifle caliber, say .223 for example. If i wasn’t concerned about extending brass life or extreme consistency would skipping annealing be a problem? Assuming I could aim for only 2 or 3 reloadings and then just cycle in fresh brass.

    • @winninginthewind
      @winninginthewind  10 месяцев назад

      Not a problem at all. Annealing only has a limited amount of effect on brass life. I've run brass in 223 10+ firings without ever annealing it.

    Hi Keith, Not so concerned about toma-toe or to-mate-oh, the one that gets me in Australia is even the nightly news readers can no longer pronounce Emergency!
    It seems we no longer have the letter E in our vocabulary and it is now pronounced Amergency..
    Even the auto correct didn't like that one. And it can't be blamed on accents.
    All the best.
    Dave from Oz.

    Loved it. FWIW I say "tomaato" not "tomahto". Perhaps that's my California upbringing. Now I live in the south and can get by with "tamater".
