Can anyone provide an answer as to why atheism is not a rationally justified position?

The biggest reason is probably because atheism cannot rationally justify how any belief could be rationally justified. If our minds are just accidents of the universe, then there is no reason to believe that any of our thoughts truly reflect reality. 🙂 This is what's called the transcendental argument, which I briefly explain at 49:24 in the video.

@@verimythpictures9755 Who suggested that "our minds are just accidents of the universe"?

Atheism Can be rationally justified. It's like a game show where there is a brand new Corvette hiding behind door number 1,2 or 3? You can be justified in doubting the sports car is BEHIND door 3. Or you can doubt there is ANY Corvette at all. At least agnostics are OPEN to the idea of new information or evidence on the subject.

@@joehinojosa8030 I _am_ agnostic and open to all ideas and new information. Adopting the position of agnosticism is not incompatable or contradicting to adopting the position of atheism. The two positions are not mutually exclusive. Each and every agnostic is either a theist or an atheist. I am an agnostic atheist.
