OK, so even more impressed than before! Love the covers of Rage, Dua Lipa, anderson paak, RHCP, etc., but this is so impressive. Not that jazz is better than the others (it's not, though I do love jazz), but being able to hold one's own in a jazz environment is no easy task, let alone make it feel so natural and musical. And in a live environment like this on top of it all! Wow!
1 1/2 hours doing not her normal genre at high level by any measure. As Ken said she just absorbs everything. Also after Saturday she recorded another album with the band.

ChatGPT, the AI "machine" you refer to does not have the ability to "react" to this or any recent video, as it can only reply to inputs using its' 2022 software programming. @@gregorytrotter6657 No problem. I have been testing ChatGPT and found it is not AI, yes it is artificial, but has no intelligence, just like a calculator or toaster. It has no ability to learn and can only stick to the programmed scripts using data that it was given at the time it was released in 2022. My findings are that it will always stick with an official story, despite earlier admitting to evidence that would disprove it. It would also refuse to give text from a book citing copyright, while also admitting it was aware of the book being in the public domain as it was over 200 years old.
In regards to writing comments for a Yoyoka video, I would give ChatGPT inputs and sometimes modify the output with the idea of combining different elements that would hopefully make a positive, if not amusing post. I put ChatGPT at the top of the post for transparency.
My thoughts on AI is that can only be as good or bad as the people who program it.

Holy crap! Yes, count me in the league of watching this amazing youngster from age 8 wow and mystify us with her prodigal drumming skills, but now she’s a preteen and playing jazz as well or even better than some of the greatest jazz drummers. How many kids her age even listen to jazz and yet Yoyoka sets the tempo and changes it up so effortlessly and smoothly as though she were a 60 year old veteran! Yoyoka, you never cease to amaze me or the world!

Ok. So I was impressed with her classic rock play-alongs. “That’s awesome!” I thought, “but is she more than a fantastic copy machine. Well, now I know the answer. She’s a proper musician. There’s still some growth to be had as far as leading and responding to the rest of the players, but she holds her own. But that’s nit picking on the level I’d have of most drummers. And who knows how much time she had with this material.
If you haven't already, you might to check out her live practice vids. Lots of incredible improvisations. Too bad she will never be able to challenge Buddy Rich to a drum battle!
@racebiketuner she (sort of) has. Buddy Rich's big band are playing in the UK with Ian Paice as a special guest. 😂

As good as she is, Yoyoka has a LONG way to go to catch up with Senri with jazz drumming. But still, at her age, this is masterful.
Not as far as you think! Comparing both at the same age, YOYOKA is ahead. Watch YOYOKA's cover of Senri's Onyx at age 7 live and again at 13 with Senri's original. Senri is absolutely the best female drummer thus far, though!
@@Rob-Yule - Senri was exceptionally good at age 14. Nevertheless, I was comparing them now. No question that Yokoka is extremely talented, but she is far from being the best. Also, in the jazz genre, I firmly believe that Yoyoka will never catch up to Senri's ability.
