Hi, Cambriea! Glad you all made it safe from the storm. When I was pregnant with my daughter we had a friend with a St, Bernard dog staying with us. I was having stomach problems and the dog laid by my bed the whole time to make sure I was ok. I love how they have that instinct. They are great dogs but very big! Hugs to all. 🙏🙏🙏💜💜💜👍👍👍🍁🍁🍁

we live in the Northeast, and have had "water" issues in the house for years. This year we had major landscape construction done and had a french drain system put in, as part of it. It is a lifesaver, has made all the difference in the world. I would, highly, recommend putting in the french drain system, worth the money. Glad you are all ok, and doing well.

So glad you are safe!! When you bought your home did u know that that room flooded? The realtor needs to inform you of this!! if they failed to let you know that that room flooded when it rained or hurricane, you all can ask for some money back because that could’ve made your decision of not buying the home. Everything needs to be disclosed at the moment you’re purchasing the home just FYI if they failed you can go after them for failure to disclose and get some money back.

Glad you are all safe! May I suggest, you gut the wall that has flooded twice (maybe more before you) and pour a higher slab of concrete out back to avoid the flooding in the future. I worry about mold. Which would not be good for your family. Praying for your family to quickly recover! Thank you for sharing this video!

As I am watching your video a news bulletin just came on our Canadian television showing the devastation in some areas. They reported on the rescue of over 600 people in an apartment building where they were neck deep in water. My brain can’t even grasp all the suffering and desperation that most people went through and are still going through. So glad to hear that you are ok along with some other creators that invite us into their homes on a daily basis. God bless you all. ❤️🙏

Take good care with all that's going on and don't do too much! You look beautiful and seem to be recovering well. The kids are amazing! I will never forget Bjorn's face when he was holding Athena. It was "pure love". Xander is fantastic with her too. Bobby is doing so much work trying to keep the house intact and Bailey taking care of the ducks was adorable. So glad you are okay and I'll keep watching my favorite family to ensure you weather these terrible storms. 🥰🥰

You're looking great Cambria. So glad you're all OK. Poor Bobby having to put up decorations again. I just found a video on Blessing Boys. They recently relocated from I think from GA to Texas. I think he said an hour or so north of Austin. They were helping clean up a property in Texas for his good friends who also just moved there after they moved. They purchased gorgeous 6 acres flat land. Garden beds, barns, etc.

What a good boy! ❤ The ducks (even the teenagers) know they have a good home and lots of love and great care. No wonder they didn't run off! They know they have it good there! 😁

So very glad you guys came through so well! We still have our Helene mess hanging around as my hubby got sick and had a pneumothorax resulting in a 5-day hospitalization, got out Wednesday the day of Milton’s landing! I love how your family just pulls together and gets stuff done! ❤️

My husband worked on a property that had flooding in the garage Everytime it rained. He couldn’t even get insurance. My hubs installed an underground pump and it worked so well. Easy to install and not overly expensive. Might be worth looking into for future. So glad you are all ok. Damage is devastating for you. I couldn’t imagine having to deal with freak weather. So scary. Good job Bobby is a fixer I’m sure he will be able to sort most of it. Love to you all xx

My nephew lives in El Paso, which is one of the few cities in Texas on the national power grid. Therefore when the power went out in Texas, causing winter and summer blackouts they were not affected. Plus my great nieces are getting an excellent education there. Oh, and my nephew is retired Army. ❤
Glad you guys are ok. Couldn't the water in that room cause damage and mold to the walls? We dug down all around our house about 3 feet and put a heavy plastic barrier all around our house so our basement doesn't get water in it. It may help with the water getting in the room.

It is actually really smart to clean the house and catch up on the laundry before a potentially lengthy power outage, especially if you are on a well. If you end up being without power for almost 2 weeks, the house and its residents can get pretty funky, so the cleaner you start out, the better. And it is always a good idea to have shelf stable treats on hand to keep morale up! Glad you guys are safe and sound!!
Lol yeah, there was a hurricane Nadine but that was in 2012 and it wasn't big. That's what it said when I just looked it up. People are crazy. Glad you guys are doing well 💜. I saw a video about sandbags. It said to use a tarp under them and set it up about a foot away from the foundation to help with water seeping in. Wonder that would help?
So glad y’all are safe. Living in coastal Texas we deal with hurricanes often, I have a question, if you had water in the sunroom why are you not removing the Sheetrock? In Texas they have us remove the Sheetrock up a certain amount above the water level to help stop the spread of mold forming on the Sheetrock? Just curious?
I think Bobby said sheetrock was fine. They did replace that window, so that probably helped. It was mainly leaking around the back door and the foundation where the sidewalk came across that back wall on the opposite side. Sometimes, you're gonna have small leaks when you get that much water, but Bobby has made some great efforts to avoid these issues.

@dianna3589 My guess is the sunroom was a porch that they had enclosed at some point, and the sidewalk is probably not connected to the foundation of the sunroom. Which means that there is a gap that water is getting into, like a river track and sneaking underneath that wall.

I always try to clean house too before hurricane because you never know when you will get electricity back on. Last hurricane it was 11 days without power.

I've been praying for everyone that were affected by these hurricanes. 🙏🏻 If y'all decide to move to Texas that would be wonderful. We're from San Antonio and still live nearby. We can get extreme weather from time to time but not as often as in Florida or Wisconsin. What most people who are not from Texas take time to adjust to is the heat, but learn quickly how to plan their days around the hottest part of the day.

First thing today was check to see if you and your family were OK. With being a native Californian it’s hard to fathom with the other side of the United States is going through. So glad to hear that everything is somewhat normal in your neck of the woods! Definitely prayers for those that were affected in such devastating circumstances.
