What i love about these Otters is that they're so playful and entertaining. They can take a rock and start to play imaginary soccer or basketball with it all day. And they're very possessive and curious Once they find something it's there's.. even it could be twenty dollar's or your favorite baseball hat; just makes sure you keep your stuff locked up away from them, because these Otters are super bi-curios But they're so sweet..😍😍😍❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🥺
I love the ones at the aquariums, but guys - otters should not be kept as pets! They should be in the wild whenever that is possible, and be taken care of by professionals whenever that is not.
So true, they need their huge families but I know many save orphans or otters injured but Otters are very family oriented, and mother otters, will adopt orphans if noticed..Sweetest creatures…❤️

There are 13 types of otters living all over the planet. The heaviest are the sea otters which were nearly hunted to extinction many decades ago. These otters are now protected and making a comeback. They live in the northeastern Pacific from California to Alaska. The South American giant otter is longer but not as heavy. The smallest is the Asian small clawed otter.
Well, I find the killing machine part pretty interesting, I mean when you think about it, for small animals like them it's hard to belive they could kill so many things, but seeing how capable they are of both defending themselves and finding enough food for themselves whether it's hunting down a rabbit, catching up to a fish, or even grabbing sea urchins without many issues, it's impressive to me
