  • I'm always looking for new techniques, or types of lures to spice up my fishing.
    This year i will give a good go at these lures , results will be shared ;)

    My brother has a box full of these lures from his time in the USA. I remember when I visited him he brought me to a Bass Pro outlet my jaw was on the floor 😅. Me thinks he'll be getting a visit from me this week

      @@NorbertRenaud have a trip to Muckno planned for next week so I think they'll be packed for that! They even have some musky teeth marks on them so I know they work 👍👌

    Same eijit here but the other brand is indeed the Jake. The Musky Maina Jake and Ernie are plastic rip-offs from the wooden baits built by mr Satonica. Indeed both were built by hand from wood, the grandma’s used to have 4 trebles (not allowed in Europe) but I am not dismissing the catching power of both brands

    I'm some eejit, I often buy lures if they have a rattle in them because I think it will trigger a strike. I'll pick up more silent ones

      On pressured waters silent lures can help, in general I like using louder lures when the weather is rough, windy and wavy day 😉
