Because people lack imagination. You can't appreciate this masterpiece if you don't let yourself relax and fade into that brilliant story's universe...
Exactly, its really wonderful when Alexandria comes inside the story. The film is so close to my heart, this is exactly how kids imagine the worlds when their parents/grandparents tell them stories
The most underappreciated, underrated cinematic masterpiece. I'll never understand why.
I soooo strongly agree
Same thing I say about Ernest goes to camp
Because people lack imagination.
You can't appreciate this masterpiece if you don't let yourself relax and fade into that brilliant story's universe...
It’s the most accurate depiction of depression I have ever seen. Among many other things.
Perfect comment
One of the best blu-rays I ever saw. The use of color in every scene was unforgettable.
Tarsem is the master at utilizing color. He had a very short lived Wizard of Oz series that was great at that too.
The most gorgeous movie ever made. No contest.
Some Wes Anderson flicks are in the contest... but this is the favourite of mine.
So is MACBETH
Looks similar to the Terry Gilliam version of Baron Munchausen.
The visual experience is unreal!
it's the Grand Budapest Hotel imo
These aesthetics are unmatchable, why haven’t I heard of this film before???!!!
One of the most beautiful, emotional, well scripted, incredibly acted...absolutely magical piece of cinema ever created in my most humble opinion.
beautiful, even better on second watch! you really see how Roy develops his narrative and how Alexandria puts herself inside it

masterpiece. goosebumps. and tears, every time.
I wish I could have seen this on the big screen.
You would have flooded the hall with tears.
I was so lucky to catch this one at a film festival on the big screen! In Amsterdam in 2006
This is such a phenomenally fantastic film.
Such a masterpiece that not meny people know of.
Needs to be in the Criterion Collection
Visually it's something I can't put into words.
Simply amazing movie.
Tarsem Singh is a great director.
this masterpiece has a lot of emotional impact
Aged wine 🍷 flavour gets richer and more richer... years after years...
THIS is the vibe I was hoping the green knight would have
Is Green Knight worth watching?
@@yoni5570 Да, хороший получился фильм.
@@yoni5570 No!!!!
I would like Tarsem Singh to do Shantaram.
The film that "Three Thousand years of longing" aspired to be without success.
I'm hyped this is coming back to theaters!
When?
I can't find any way to rent or see this film.
Hermosa película.
Ooohh Lee Pace, i forget how hot you are!!!
Right? Swoon!

I was getting headaches from the movie 'Being John Malkovich' and this David Finch movie is no exception. A waste of time. Don't recommend it.
This isn't a David Finch movie and is not at all similar to Being John Malkovich.
I think you're lost???
notice how your comment flopped 😇🤞
This is Tarsem Singh, my guy
Obviously not someone who appreciates art in any shape or form with that kind of opinion. Maybe an NPC?
