Hi Reecie! Love your WIPS and Maynia projects that you will be starting. You pick the most beautiful projects. I am doing 20 Maynia projects. Some of them are WIPS. Have a great week and happy stitching!
I so enjoyed seeing your Maynia plans. One of yours (Little Berry Thief) I started as part of my Maynia too. And one of yours has made me rethink what I’m doing...I have that Chessie and Me house and had forgotten it until I saw yours! Have a great week! Blessings, Marlene
Great choices for Maynia. Love the thread for the Kathy Barrick Quaker, I am doing mine with a deep blue (NPI) for my Mom and being that we live in Pennsylvania it is only appropriate that I stitch it. Have fun and seeing your variety of linen with the threads are a great way to see how it goes together so thank you for sharing. Not doing an official Maynia but might as well be with all the new starts I have. Have fun stitching.
The first Quaker WIP you showed is very pretty. You have some lovely and diverse projects to keep you busy this month. I don't think you will get bored. Love your videos.
Hi Reecie. I just love all your picks! I’m waiting for A. H to E.E to arrive. I told myself that I must finish Ann Grimshaw 1818 first before I can start it. (Lets see if I listen) 😆 I can’t wait to see your progress. I went with some bigger starts for Maynia and some smaller ones too. I hope you’re getting lots of stitching time in. See you next video. Hugs to Izzy 🐾
Hi! Enjoyed seeing your plans for Maynia. I’m doing Mer-Mania, the StitchSania version-one new start each Friday in May. Each one has a mermaid in it. I made my first FlossTube video over the weekend in which I talked about my plans. I started with Barbara Anna’s “Flowers from the Sea.” Thank you for the inspiration!
Thanks for the video Reecie. I am in awe of how much stitching you finish. I'm usually a monogamous stitcher but am starting a few things now. Best of luck on your maynia starts, you'll do great!
Great floss tube Reecie , love all of your choices for maynia and guess what I even approve of your Halloween selection , love that pop of orange . I’m not participating in Maynia I have enough starts to cover all months . Hopefully we get to catch up soon . The barking dogs made me laugh !!
Beautiful picks for maynia! Look forward to seeing your progress at the end of the month. I’m a watch everyone else maynia stitcher. Continue to take good care 😘❤️ Rebecca
Great mania projects! I can’t pick a fave, but it I did, it might be that sampler roll you showed last!! I’ve never done mania but I think next year will be my first! And don’t ever worry about the pups barking.... we all love the pups.....stay well!!
Thx for sharing! I don’t do Marnia but love your choices! I tend to work large detailed pieces and already have many in progress! I guess it’s what keeps us from going crazzzzzy! Stay Safe Reece
That was a fun Maynia look through. Hope you get to stitch on them all. I am doing all of mine from last year that I never touched again. Hopefully I’ll work on some of them throughout this year. 26 with a couple new ones thrown into the mix.
Another wonderful video. Love seeing your plans. I am doing "monogamaynia" and just working on one piece. I am pretty much a monogamous stitcher. The thought of having 31 new starts or even that many WIPs just gives me anxiety. Love the picture of your dog. 😁
I like all of your projects --- so pretty. And it amazes me how many of us watching your lovely video are from Georgia, right near the Okefenokee Swamp! I live less than 40 miles from it and it really is a lovely place, though I can do without the alligators!
Enjoy your Maynia! I am doing more of a Saneia. I just don't like having a lot of started projects around. I have about five at the moment and one of those is from 2003, when I stopped cross-stitching. But I do love seeing what everyone is thinking about doing and then what they actually do. Thanks for sharing.
You said Okefenokee almost like a native. It’s actually I Georgia almost on the border with Florida very near where I live. It’s a beautiful place even though you wouldn’t think a swamp would be. Love all your choices for Maynia. Lots of beauties to enjoy!
You have a wonderful mix of patterns for maynia..I’m doing 31...mostly smalls.. but since this is my first time at maynia, i thought to try all the things..happy stitching ..cheers
Love your videos Reecie! Was surprised by the size of Manor at Quaker Hill! Have fun with maynia! Love your projects and you are awesome at displaying your charts giving plenty of time to look. A lot of floss tubers move them so quickly that it’s hard to look and notice the designer. 💕
Thanks for the video Reecie! I loved seeing your Maynia plans! I hope remain Monogamous during May!! I'll cross my fingers after seeing your starts! I have so many Reflets but not the one you showed!! lol
Thank you for showing us all your projects. Your work is very inspiring! Btw, Okefenokee Swamp is a huge wetland and National Wildlife Refuge in Georgia, and maybe part of Florida too. Your pronunciation was pretty good! Oh-key-fen-oh-key 😇
Yes, she did a good job pronouncing it not having heard it before, and I am sure confusing the fact that I had mentioned Georgia with Texas was an easy mistake. I was just tickled that I was able to help. Thanks for posting the phonetic spelling as I had planned to if nobody else had already.
Very exciting plans! It will be fun to see what you have accomplished by the end of May. Your Quaker Manor is beautiful! I am going to try 31 starts for Maynia. Working from home has been a huge time saver and I was thinking I would be fortunate enough to be home this month, but we are being called back in, so maybe I won’t get as far as I hoped. Anyway, have fun! @stitching4solace
I SO enjoy watching your posts! And, as usual, I had to add even more to my wish list. Thank you for asking, I am thoroughly enjoying Maynia and will be filming for Gramma's World on Friday. So far it's a blast and I'm learning that I can get a lot accomplished when I make an appointment with myself to actually start something.
Hello Reecie, I am doing Maynia. Or Stitch Sania. I am starting 5 new projects. They will mostly be gifts so I need to start them. I’ll start one each weekend of May. The dog did not bother me at all. ❤️
H Reecie, you have a lovely variety of patterns to stitch for Mania! I generally have a sampler and a small going, don’t think any more than that would suite me, but I love seeing all the Maynia plans everyone has. Enjoy your stitching💕
It’s okay if you can’t comment. There are thousands of us. LOL You have great stitchy things!! I’m going to stitch nine BBD mini stockings. I bought three charts after Brenda and Laura showed them. I may find another one hidden in a chart but I’m sticking to the mini ones for now. I’m also alternating that with the strawberries in the newest In Friendship’s Way book. They all seem to share similar colors so I loaded up a large ring with overdyed colors and threw 36 and 30 count fabric in a project bag. Easy-Peasy! Have a great week!
I've been loving seeing everyone's Maynia plans.. I can't wait to see your progress! My own Maynia plans are to stitch every day in May. I'm going to just go with what calls to me, so I've got a couple of starts so far and a couple of WIPs that have been getting some love
I’m starting a stocking each day, for 31 days, from Blackbird Designs Three Stockings Series. I completed 5 of them pre-Maynia so I’d have exactly 31 left. So far, so good! Lots of beautiful projects for you to choose from and enjoy!
Hi great video today, I am doing mania, starting a new piece of work on my days off ( I am a nurse)working on it a little when I come home, so about three or four a week some small some large and making my mind up on the day as to what to stitch. I like the way everyone can choose what they are going to do and how. Hope you manage all 31
Great projects! I’m a Kathy Barrick fanatic and don’t have the stocking but am going to purchase now! I so enjoy your videos and your stitching. Beautiful work. I am starting Angel of the Morning by Lavender and Lace as my main project for Maynia.
Wonderful Maynia starts! I can't wait for the recap. I rarely do Maynia, so why I decided to do my version this year is anyone's guess. But I decided to stitch all Plum Street Sampler kits, starting a new one each Saturday, 5 total. I work on samplers on Sunday so my Maynia pieces will 6 days of stitching before it's time to move on to the next one. I'm going to try to be good about keeping them posted on Instagram (CO Stitcher); at least progress at the end of day 1 and the end of day 6.
This is my first time participating in stitch mania. In am starting 20 projects. I stitched the Samplers Not Forgotten Needle roll from ABC club and loved it. Enjoy the Mania!
Enjoyed the trip through your maynia plans. I always enjoy seeing the mix of projects that stitchers have. Hope you finish the beautiful WTNT Quaker soon. Stunning. I am focused on finishing #bbdesigns We Live in Hope, which would fit nicely in your merman plans, well sorta. Newly released at market, the design was the DTS retreat class in 2019. I will post my progress in IG. Looking forward to a another stash dive, hearing how you like the 37 count Russian tea cake, and your maynia progres! ❤
Wow you have some amazing starts and none of them are what I would call small!!! I am only doing 4 new starts - one each Monday - then carrying on with my usual stitching. Look forward to seeing all your progress. Btw Izzy is gorgeous.
I always love the projects that you choose! Looking forward to seeing your progress. I just got a new puppy so I modified my stitch Maynia this year because she's a handful. I'm trying to stitch two motif's on His Eye is On the Sparrow each day. So far, so good! :)
Love all of your projects! I have that stocking pattern too and now of course I’m feeling like I need to start it!! And I’m madly in love with many of the Reflets de Soire patterns. I’ve been saying I’m doing Maybemania because I can’t seem to decide how far I want to jump in. For right now I think I’m doing 5 new starts, one each weekend in May, and fill in with WIPs.
Your mania starts are so inspiring. I'm almost finished In My Garden by BBD, love it! And thanks for the recommendation of thread for the Quaker Reproduction, I was unsure of what thread to use. Wasn't feeling I wanted to use the recommended thread.
Your Brenda Gervais piece is coming along so pretty! I was trying to resist it but now it is on my list along with four others I wrote down from your video...lol I am going to work on WIPS for Maynia, this week it is Bobbing for Pumpkins by With Thy Needle and Thread. My dog barks a lot also, no worries, yours was not bothering me . 🥰 Take care, stay well and happy stitching.
I recently finished the Heads Up Halloween. I didn’t do the devil as he freaked me out. As I’m making mine into ornaments, I did them on random scraps. Anxious to see yours as all one piece.
You pronounced okeefenokee exactly right. It's in South Georgia. I'm from North Georgia and I've actually never been there, your maynia choices are fantastic.
Funnnny, “ fence drilling scenario”..... 🙄. “Manor at Quaker hill” is big, pattern packet is deceptive. I love the Kathy Barrack primitive stockings too. Looks like a lot of delicious stitching.
I am so glad I was able to help and that Okefenokee worked out for you. ❤️I was tickled when you mentioned it in your video. You did pretty good on pronunciation for never having heard it before. My husband fought fire there by helicopter years ago when he was a pilot for the forestry service here in Georgia, and he flew me over it several years later as well. Here is some background info. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Okefenokee_National_Wildlife_Refuge
I have a few of these on my Maynia list too! Have fun. You can check out my Maynia progress on Instagram at stitchingqueen. I’m alternating new starts with WIPs.
Thank you for your video. Love your Maynia choices! They are a little bit of everything! I am doing full on manic Maynia, with 31 starts. Big, medium, and small. I mean one of them is a HawkRunHollow! 🤪 If you are interested in following me, I am southard5200 on IG. Take care, be well, and happy stitching!
Reecie, It’s always great to spend time with you!!! Your Manor at Quaker Hill is so amazing!! Love seeing your wips and plans!! Happy Maynia!

You have some very lovely picks for Maynia, Reecie! Enjoy every stitch!

What great Maynia projects. The manor project is huge and it is lovely. Enjoy your stitching time . Izzy is a beauty!!

So many fun projects. I’m doing 10 starts for Maynia spread out over the month because I like to have a solid start. Enjoy your beautiful projects.

Yes, I live near Macon. I told her about it being in Georgia, but she accidentally said Texas, a simple mistake for anyone unfamiliar.
And a lot of us (especially we older ones in the US) know Okefenokee because it was used as the location in a popular comic strip called POGO.
I'm in North Georgia.
Great projects! So fun to have all kitted up! Hope you find lots of stitching time!
You have a wonderful mix of patterns for maynia..I’m doing 31...mostly smalls.. but since this is my first time at maynia, i thought to try all the things..happy stitching ..cheers

Love you Reece!
May I suggest you look at a dark teal to do your Mermaid Fraktur on - it really pops on it!

Just trying 5 new starts for Maynia. I don't like to have a lot of wips. :)
Hello Reecie
Lovely to see 😍 you today 😊
6:44PM
Okefenokee-quite sure that is an American Indian word.
A swamp in Florida. Ha
I have a few of these on my Maynia list too! Have fun. You can check out my Maynia progress on Instagram at stitchingqueen. I’m alternating new starts with WIPs.
