What sampler was your favorite finish and why? Cheers!
So beautiful! They are even more lovely now that they are framed! Excited for Sampler September, looking forward to seeing Samplers I have drooled over and resisted (so far) being brought to life as they are stitched by others. Absolutely love studying them♥️ Jane Baxter is one I am so happy to see, as the cover picture makes it a little hard to imagine stitched anew. Yours is lovely and such a surprise to be gifted ready to go and already started! Anyway, enjoy the rest of September, it is certainly flying by✈️
Delightful Reecie - so glad you posted another video, thank you for taking the time! I enjoy every minute of your videos, and oh. my. goodness - your finishes and framed pieces are beyond stunning! You are extremely inspirational, and make me laugh with your humor - thank you!
Oh my goodness! How exciting to be looking for a new home and to have such beautiful framed stitched treasures to hang on those new walls! Your stitching is beautiful! I love your taste in designs to stitch. My old eyes have trouble with 32 count sometimes, so I am intimidated by the 40 and 50 count fabrics. It amazes me when stitchers like you work on them. Awesome! Jane Baxter is a lovely piece. I also especially loved Karolina Kisling. The designer you featured has wonderful designs! Thank you for sharing!
Glad you’re back Reecie!! Jane Baxter is a beautiful sampler. Australia is one place I’d love to see. Where would you love to visit if you could go anywhere? See you on your next video!👍🏻
Glad to see you back! I enjoy your channel so much. Thanks for sharing the Sabine Teterra-Gundacker's website! Many samplers you shared today were unfamiliar to me. I find Jane Baxter very intriguing. Thanks for sharing your time and work.
Found you not long ago and have been watching your videos! You have great projects on the go and beautiful finishes! Your frame pieces are stunning! I would love to stitch Jane Baxter!
I stitched Karolina Kissling in memory of my mini-dachshund, Gretchen. This was my first chart from Sabine and have since purchased several more. As I come from German ancestry, I felt it important to stitch some German samplers. I'm so happy that other stitchers have found Sabine's website and are stitching her pieces.
I really love your floss tubes!!! I am glad you are back, i missed you. I just started stitching Jane Harth and absolutely haven't been able to put her down - it's those crazy colors and all that pattern that keeps calling out to me. Please stay well and keep stitching all the lovely things
Hello, is it always joy to watch one of your videos ! Love everything you stitch, great stitcher you are. I would love to stitch Jane Baxter. I love samplers. Do tell us how long you have been stitching? What attracts you to sampler? Thanks again for taking time to do these for us!!
Enjoy watching your videos. Thank you for sharing your WIPs, finishes and plans. Looking forward to your next video. Jane Baxter. Questions: What draws you to a particular sampler pattern? Do you have any themes that you especially like in the sampler pattern? Take care, stay safe and happy stitching.
Jane Baxter - wonder if your friend is having second thoughts about abandoning this stitch because it is just lovely!! Why do we want what we can't have - when you say you won't share your darkest secrets, I immediately wonder what they are :-) Just wondering how you came to stitching? Do others in your family stitch? Mom, sisters, grandma, etc? Love your videos - thanks for taking the time to make and share!
Love the Jane Baxter sampler. So nice to see you back. Good luck with the house hunting and hopefully you will find the perfect home soon. It is so interesting to learn more about our friends in your area so please share some current events.
It's always stitch a delight to spend time with a fellow reproduction sampler enthusiast. Thank you for making videos. The samplers you just got back from your framer are amazing. They will look wonderful in your new home. I would love to be able to stitch Jane Baxter. She would be a wonderful addition to one of my sampler walls. The next time you're at the Crewel Gobelin, please give my warm regards to Julie and the gang.
Thanks for the video. It is great to see someone young like yourself have such enthusiasm and enjoyment in stitching. Why do floss tubers always apologise for the time lapse between videos? Your stitching is both interesting and lovely. 😊 I think the Rose Sampler is one of the most beautiful pieces of stitching that I’ve seen. Bravo! Like you I love NPI silks and recently treated myself to their colour cards. My eyesight is quite poor now and even 32 count is a challenge😢Best wishes from a old granny in the UK, LIz
Always nice to see you. Your finishes are amazing and inspiring. Those framed pieces are gorgeous. Im going to watch again. Jane Baxter is fab thank you.
Reecie, your videos are always a treat! Your finishes are amazing! I would love to stitch Jane Baxter. My question is what is your favorite red colored floss? Cab be silk or cotton.
So good to see you again. Thanks for sharing your stitching with us. I already have Jane Baxter but would love to ask a question. What is your favorite fabric and fabric count to stitch on? Happy Stitching and looking forward to your next video.
Enjoyed seeing you again.....your framed pieces are so wonderful...what a friend to pass you her Jane Baxter! Would love to stitch her with you...Love the colours...Did you have any stitching relatives who exposed you to this craft when you were young(er)?
Jane Baxter. When you get in your new home, will you show us your wall of samplers & will you have some of those stunning pieces behind you when doing Floss Tube in your new studio there? Hope so! Good luck house hunting. Love your beautiful samplers! PS looking forward to your Halloween video. 😊
Such a fun Flosstube to watch Reece!! I did a large HATS Bristol sampler (Louisa Coulimore) on 52 count with Tudor silk. I had lots of trouble with the silk fraying and tangling and much like you had to use thread conditioner, etc. Not sure if I got a bad batch or what! I will be anxious to see how you fare. I am currently in love with using 46 count with AVAS 100/3 threads on the spools...it is fantastic, and perfectly sized. Why are you considering moving? I would love to stitch Jane Baxter. Debbie Wolfe in Kansas, USA
Hi Reecie, so glad to see you back for another video. Jane Baxter is such a beautiful chart-I would love to stitch her. How long have you been cross stitching? Your stitching is so pretty. Thanks for sharing ! Pam Miller
Your work is amazing Reecie. I just love all your Samplers. They are real treasures. I would love to stitch Jane Baxter. My question is how long do you get to stitch for each day as you seem to get a lot done. Thanks so much fir your update. Happy stitching.
Thank you for your video. Gotta say it, 56 count never going to happen. You're a little bit cuckoo, but in a nice way. But you're young and can see way better. My fave is 36 count, and I can manage 40 sometimes. Loved looking at your finishes, they will be so beautiful in your new home. And the Jane Harth piece, I think those flowers look like stained glass. Lovely! Take care and happy stitching!
As always, a wonderful video Reecie! I loved your frame choices. You have a great framer, lucky you. I am too slow on anything over 32 count and I have too much to stitch so I'll have to leave all the fun 56 to you! Lol! I would love to stitch Jane Baxter. Question: What was the first piece you cross stitched and how did you become interested in stitching? Love your videos, your accent and your chaos!!
I forgot about the little dachshund sampler! I need to start that! I also need to order at least ½ a dozen more from Sabine! Great video. Congratulations on your framed pieces. I hope you do hang them and enjoy them until you move. xx Michele
I've got money to burn and I need a new video from you, so you can tell me what to buy. LOL Love your taste. Hope you're well on the other side of the world. Love from Texas. #happystitching
It’s wonderful to visit with you. Your newly framed pieces are gorgeous and will look fantastic when displayed. It’s such a proud moment when the framing is done. I just finished and framed AH to EE and I can’t stop looking at it. Love the colours in Jane Baxter. Looking forward to seeing your Halloween plans. When is your favourite time of day to stitch?
Hello Reecie! I am glad you are back after your long hiatus. I really like the Jane Baxter. I was wondering at what age did you start cross stitching and what got you interested in stitching?
Good day Reecie, I just caught up with all your videos. I hope all is well with you, and that you and yours are all keeping well in this extraordinary, crazy year. I’m in Eastern 🍁 Canada 🇨🇦, and I was working from home until end of April when I was layed off, but I did enjoy the time gained from not commuting. I also got up at the same time, and used that time to do some stitching. The beauty of being ‘Retired’ is all the time to stitch 🥰👏👍. Oh my, your FFOs are absolutely stunning and your frame choices are spot on. Speaking of Jane Baxter, did I understand correctly, are you still home hunting? Thanks for all your awesome shares all so beautiful, you’re becoming quite the enabler lol. Hope to see you soon, meanwhile have a great xx time.
A.H to E.E. is beautiful Reecie! And I love your framed pieces. I’d love to stitch Jane Baxter. Have you always had bangs? I recently started growing mine back out.
Marie T Clement looks amazing!! I love the Gigi R and Reflets de Soie charts, they are all gorgeous. Edit: That Roserie sampler is amazing also! This one is going on my wish list for sure! wow
Hi Reecie Your framed pieces look amazing, I imagine that you can't wait to move to get them on your walls!. What a beauty Jane Baxter is, I'd love to stitch her. Wow, 56ct! I guess my question is how do you stitch on count that high, is it 1x2 or 1x1?
I would love to stitch Jane Baxter and would hope it turns out as pretty as yours ! I wonder if you have your very first piece you ever stitched and have you always loved and stitched mainly samplers ? You are inspiring me to check out npi silks . Those knots drive me crazy too !
So nice to see you back, your framed pieces were lovely & how exciting that you will have a new home to hang them in. When did you first realize that you loved needlework?
Reecie!!!!!!!! So happy to see you back. Great video, it did not disappoint. Your work is impeccable and I love every piece. Jane Baxter would be fun to stitch! Here’s my question.....how do you pick your charts? Are there specific things you look for, or is there something that strikes an emotional response? You always find the best charts! TFS. Xoxo Joanne
Another great video - thanks for sharing. I'd love to stitch Jane Baxter, have had my eye on it for a long time. As a fellow Aussie and flosstube watcher, what stitching shop would you most like to visit ? I don't really know myself. Perhaps the Attic? You're lucky to have the Crewel Gobelin fairly nearby (I've done that train trip loads from Newcastle to Sydney because when I met my hubby he was living in Newcastle and I was in Melb, would fly to Sydney then train or small plane to Belmont). We are severely lacking in a good cross stitch store here in Melbourne (we're lacking in a lot at the moment actually....). Thank you
I love how you show your charts and tell us the fabric and threads you are using or going to use when you stitch the design. Jane Baxter is on my wish list. Can you offer suggestions on the type of fabric and threads I should purchase? The highest count I have used so far is 25ct lugana. Not looking to go any higher right now. I am bit scared!!!!
What a lovely start on Jane Baxter! It was great hearing about a new designer, your charts are beautiful. Do you have other favorite designers that we (in the states) may not have heard of that you could share with us?
I love your videos and am always happy when I see a new one posted! I have recently been thrilled with NPI silks as well and definitely share your enthusiasm! Jane Baxter is on my wishlist. ☺️ After stitching on the higher counts of linen, what count is now your favorite? Take care and I look forward to your next video!
I’d love to stitch Jane Baxter. And I, too, really enjoy stitching with NPI silks. I was stitching with it as I watched your video! What’s your favorite thing about samplers? Colors, flowers, houses, people? Or everything!
Love visiting with you and seeing your stitching! Your framed pieces are stunning. I’d love to stitch Jane Baxter. Maybe I could even try silks for the first time. A question I have is, Who is your favorite designer? Continue to take good care 😘❤️ Rebecca
Lots to chat about! Jane Harth is so fabulous - those colors! Added to the list. I love your Jane Baxter and would love to stitch her - the colors are amazing. I just ordered Weeks fabric for a piece and forgot to specify Zweigart - it's pretty floppy. That Hog Bristle is sublime. Just bought Sarah Hopwood - I was worried that the NPI grass was a very different green (more mustard) than the picture so am on the fence about what to do, especially if I am shelling out $$$ for NPI. I would like to try 56 ct as well - I have a magnifying lamp I can probably do surgery with. ;) Questions for you - What inspired you to take the plunge with flosstube and what equipment do you use? Do you have to edit and if so how did you learn it and how long does it take? Your close-ups are very clear, so very curious about your lights and camera (is it a phone?). Thanks, Gaea ("Gia") in NYC
Greetings Reecie so happy to have you back!! Missed you....love your finishes♥️ I have AH to EE must pull out & get busy...framed pieces are fabulous and will look stunning when you can hang them in your new home!! Good for you working on 56 count beautiful sampler , I must give it a try....I have always enjoyed working with NPI, loving Jane Baxter! Thanks for sharing information on German designer so beautiful....Be well, keep stitching all the things...

Would love to stitch Jane Baxter😳
Hi Reecie
Your framed pieces look amazing, I imagine that you can't wait to move to get them on your walls!.
So glad you are back!!! Missed you!! I love Jane Baxter. What is your most favorite sampler you’ve ever stitiched? Happy stitches!! ❤️
Glad to see you...was getting worried. You do beautiful work. Framed pieces are stunning.
So nice to see you back, your framed pieces were lovely & how exciting that you will have a new home to hang them in. When did you first realize that you loved needlework?
Loved your European chart parade! I would love to stitch Jane Baxter, and would like to know how many samplers have you completed to date? Hugs, Lori
TFS. Xoxo Joanne
I have stitched on 45 ct Jersey cream with npi, it was the called for on ‘Hannah Longstreth’ and it was perfect. Lovely video, with lovely finishes!
Loved your framed pieces! They are gorgeous! Interested in Jane Baxter! How often is your stitch day at the Crewel Gobelin? So happy to see you back!
Jane Baxter is lovely
I love the colours in Jane Baxter! If you were trapped on a desert island and could only have kits from one designer, who would you choose?
Your framed samplers are beautiful! Would love to stitch Jane Baxter
Love Jane Harth! She's beautiful .
I would really love to have the Jane Baxter chart. Have not used silks yet and unsure what to use.Sounds like you like mph silks.
Thank you for your kind words for us in CA. Local communities are really pulling together to help each other out ❤. Jane Baxter is a beautiful sampler. My question is: do you have a favorite pair or brand of embroidery scissors?
