In this day and age, there is so much content and everything moves so fast that chances are even if you’ve shared your work before people may not remember. Even if they did remember, it might be a nice reminder anyways! Plus also a good time to link and shout out older videos of yours for your newer viewers :)
Right?! I even find myself wishing some of the people I admire would post more of their stuff, old or not, and then I’m like….oh I guess I don’t do that either. 😆 And I really like your last point!! 😁🩷
Part of posting art to social media is to keep a record of your progress, right? It just makes sense to post older stuff. Also us artists can be so neurotic sometimes 😂 thinking that people keep tabs on every single thing we do and are gonna complain about things being repeated or not being chronological.
Seriously!!! People aren’t just focused on US all the time! They’re focusing on themselves just as much as we do….😆 And you have a good point, how else can we even show progress!? 💜
