    Ya know what Christine? I think it is understated how pleasant your videos are to the eye. They are always put together well and when you do DIY's, it is an understatement just how beautiful your creations are. They are just so nice and I wanted to say that! Your videos are always practical, but also visually appealing. I love being able to do things on a budget and you are always giving me ideas.

    Hi! Isuggest mixing the essential oil with the carrier oil first, AND THEN pouring them into the grounded sugar/salt. Because I've heard ans read numerous numerous time to always dillute your essential oil before putting it topically on your skin. If we put it on the pre-mixed grounded sugar/salt+carriel oil, it might not be dilluted and spread properly, some portion of the potent high concentrate essential oil might touch our skin directly.

    Two questions. Do the different salts perform differently? Do you have a "favorite" essential oil brand, or whichever ones you can find at local stores? I love making homemade scrubs! I made one with the pink salt, coconut oil, and rose oil. It's so relaxing!

      I love using epsom salt for soaks. I find that it dissolves very quickly when it comes in contact with water, so for scrubs I still have to use some sea salt or sugar in the mix. :)

    Nice video. I have a few questions to ask. I use sugar for my scrubs. Is that not a good idea? Why do you use the salt? Also the Japanese Rice Bran Oil. Is that sold at a regular grocery store? Do you make scrubs that have coloring in them? If so, what do you use that is organic. Also, I LOVE your nails. Thanks so much.

    • @AnnieLovesKillljoys
      @AnnieLovesKillljoys 7 лет назад +2

      kyoungbare I've heard it's better to use the scrub before so you can take off the dead skin before you shave to get a closer shave, if you use it after, the hair follicles can still be sensitive which can cause ingrown hairs. personally I like to use a scrub before because my legs are sensitive after shaving.(:
