Baxter Treasure Hunt: An Eastern Sierra Adventure

Dave Braun and I search for a backpack (and camera) we lost earlier this year to an avalanche on Mount Baxter's east face. No trail and 6000 vertical feet of climbing make this adventure a true Eastern Sierra classic.

I survived an avalanche in AK in 22' (air bag and luck) watching the footage of your bag (esp the sound) really got my heart rate going there, fucking ptsd

​@@AndyLewicky You are a big inspiration to me. You got me into skiing the San Gabriels. I went to Baldy several times this past season because of that and backcountry boarded Mt Waterman. I hope to do it even more this season if they get the 2 open!

I do have skiing footage from that day, and lots of footage of wet slides but not the one that got the pack (other than the avy-cam). Expect part II of this in a month or two...
