- Here's a recap of all the songs that competed for Lithuania in Eurovision Song Contest from 1994 to 2024. Please, enjoy!
Lithuania has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 24 times since its debut in 1994, where Ovidijus Vyšniauskas finished last, receiving "nul points". Lithuania withdrew from the contest, not returning until 1999. LT United's sixth place in 2006 with the song "We Are the Winners" is Lithuania's best result in the contest. The country reached the top ten for a second time in 2016, when Donny Montell finished ninth with "I've Been Waiting for This Night", and for the third time in 2021, finishing eighth with The Roop and "Discoteque".
As of 2024, Lithuania remains the only Baltic country that is yet to win the contest after wins for Estonia in 2001 and Latvia in 2002. However, since the introduction of the semi-final round in 2004, Lithuania has more final appearances than the other Baltic nations, with thirteen, compared to ten for Estonia and seven for Latvia.

Lithuania from The Roop (2020) decided to enter seriously in the game sending a lot of original songs. Wow, hope someday will happen a contest in Vilnius.

A country that sends Luktelk and Sentimentai is doing something right. They have such a beautiful language and some fascinating musicians. Silvester Belt is a class of his own.

I've seen Silvester in Amsterdam at the pre party. He waved at me for a sec that afternoon and looked at everyone during his performance. He blew us a kiss and he made eyecontact with me for 1 more moment! He's such a humble person ❤❤

For me, Donny Montell ...his first appearance on the contest was stunning, his performance was full of charisma. A true winner in my opinion.
If the 2020 Eurovision was not cancelled, Lithuania would have a chance to win. Lithuania is my one of the favorite countries in Eurovision and their language sounds like really smooth and beautiful. And also I am in love with Monika 😊❤

Lithuania does much better in this decade than any decade before both in terms of results and my sympathies. "Sentimentai" is the best song they've ever sent.

My country is on a hot streak this decade hopefully we'll win Eurovision in the next year's
as a Lithuanian, I can't believe that we've reached the top 15 4 years in a row now (together only with Sweden, Ukraine and Italy) even though I'm gutted that Silvester was only 14th, I truly thought that he would get in to the top 10.

Lithuania deserves to host Eurovision in Vilnius Arena
I'm afraid it would be hosted in Kaunas city as it has bigger capacity arena than Vilnius. But they only 100 km away from each other - there's a fast train running between these cities every hour and bus service every 30 mins. Wouldn't be a problem at all to visit both places at one visit :)

@@lukasmikalauskas689 it's a bit complicated actually, the EBU claims that the italian televote results that RAI gave also counted votes that were sent after the voting period ended, and if you look at the votes made only during the voting period then lithuania did not receive a point from the italian televote. though there's also the case of a swedish and a russian juror accidentally submitting their rankings backwards, but only the russian mistake favors lithiuania by taking away 3 points from denmark, the swedish error though would've taken away a point from lithuania and given 2 extra points to denmark which would still have meant that denmark would've gone through

My opinions about the country in eurovision: I'll probably get a lot of hate after how I put the Lithuanian entries above but let's go, I consider Lithuania to be one of the most funny countries in the contest, along with Moldova, And I really like some of this country's entries at Eurovision, but I think it's better to say why I put some of Lithuania's most beloved entries as NQ in my opinion before someone wants to kill me here in the comments 😅, first the entries of on roop, They are really fun and funny, but unfortunately they are not my cup of tea, too wacky for my style 😅, but I can understand why so many people like them and I respect those who likes, about monika of 2022, She has a beautiful and great voice but unfortunately the music and the choreo are not my cup of tea either, and now with sylvester in 2024, I usually like this type of music and I really liked the song a lot, but I have another 10 favorites in the semi-final that he was in unfortunately, but I really appreciate some songs from Lithuania they are very fun in eurovision along with Moldova they are the best in this aspect of making us have a good time watching the contest on TV, and I'm not a hater of jokes and funny entries, I really like them, but in my opinion both this type of song and all the others should have good vocals too, and Lithuania really manages that sometimes (so much so that I loved the VB gang in the Lithuanian national final, they were so funny, good vocally and my winners to represent Lithuania this year) so I'm really curious to see what Lithuania has in store for us in the coming years 👀
