Oh no so the cocomidopropyl betaine was 10% not 20% right? I tried making it yesterday at 20% with 4% sci and it became very thick 😃 will try it at 10%. Thank you ,if it's so then water in your description box should be more than 70%. Thank you so much Yaya😍

@@bintahmad9295 Oh thank you for that catch! It is 20% Cocamidopropyl Betaine. It will be way too thick with less. Sorry about that typo! The measurements in the video are correct, but the description was wrong. I corrected this. For this batch size of 8oz, 20% would be 45.36 grams. I just typed the percentage wrong. I am so sorry. 💜

@@bintahmad9295 Sorry I may have misunderstood. I used 20% cocamidopropyl betaine to 4.25% of SCI. 74% distilled water. If it is coming out thick, make sure you are checking your ph, the preservative you are using, and or fragrance you are using. These ingredients can change the consistency. I hope this helps. 💜

My grand pa used to use Bourbon for most of his inventions and it gave amazing results especially when you keep it away from the sun light for a period of time.
You can keep on the roof of your house in that room on the corner with heatproof layers, because it might be flammable.
And avoid water, if you have seawater that would be better to fill up 3 or 4 gallons and put them in the corners, to take all the humidity and keep the product as Dry as possible.
Till the time you use it .
    Thanks guys 😍😘

Hi, when you work with SCI the final pH of your formulacion should be 6-8 cause SCI might hydrolysed. Also you don't have to dilute your solution to check your pH if it's water base.

Hi Yaya, I hope you are doing great! I wanted to make a shampoo for cleansing my hair after swimming pool. Well I have tried your recipe, but I added o,45gr of sodium phytate in the water phase, and 27,12gr of cucumber extract in the cool down phase, obviously I do not have the same viscosity than you. So would you help me to correct the end result. I have thought adding some thickener like xanthan gum, but what would you advise me? Thank you Yaya for your help, looking forward to reading your tips.

Should I be testing the ph after I add in all my oils or before?

Greetings from the Riviera Maya Mexico. Thanks for your video very nice and clear, you got a new subscriber! I have tried several solid shampoos, Ufortunately the SCI bleaches my hair, is there a substitute for it? Can I use Decyl glucoside instead?

Hi Yaya ! I am in love with how easily you formulated a shampoo with SCI . Just have a question. Wont the SCI recrystallize as ive been trying to make a liquid shampoo with it but it settles down at the bottom.

Where I'm from, I can't get Optiphen, but I can get Phenoxyethanol. I did a research, Phenoxyethanol is one of the ingredients of Optiphen, but it apparently doesn't mix well with water, but mix very well with oil. Would this work?
