Honestly I've found myself enjoying this movie before and ive never been sure why especially with what you point out here, but you can get a bit invested if you ignore the crazy plot and the godawful child voice acting.
But One Eye is definitely some deviant art OC, all he needs is a tragic backstory and maybe an anime wig.

That's why for this version I increased the pitch of all the Linkin Park songs. Numb (the song in the credits) was still detected, but at least the video isn't blocked worlwide (due to the movie footage it's blocked in South Korea, but I don't care about that).
