Nektar waren 2x da, zuerst im Traklhaus (Szene der Jugend damals zum 1.Mal veranstaltet), dann im Kongresshaus. "Remember the Future" kam raus, hab´s heute noch auf Vinyl, sicher eines der besten Konzeptalben aller Zeiten.

2020 Nektar Tour starts in January , Feb ,and March for the new LP " The Other Side. Derek Moore , Ron Howden , Mick Brockett , Ryche Chlanda , Randy Dembo ,and Kendall Scott. NEKTAR is still alive and well.
LP's RTF & ATITO also on cassette -Super Great Stuff - Its A Great Life..!!! (I drank some biers in Darmstadt -up from Nurnberg 1980-1981..). Nektar, Camel, Alan Parsons and some others contributes much to my state of mind about #THIStm dream.. thanks for posting -great memory /vibes..

Still at the Sweet Age of 57,i lived threw the Best Music Era of All Times!,Nectar's Music is "Spellbinding" ONE DEF SOUL on this Site!!
This was great! I`ve been a Nektar fan forever and would very much like to see them live. I missed my chance in the 70`s. Is there a video of Desolation Valley out there? I would love to see that.
Line up? Im übrigen möchte ich noch anfügen: Die erste Doppel LP- Nektar- live in New York- und auch die Nachgeschobene 2. Doppel LP- More Nektar live in New York sind klasse. Aber der Sound hört sich an, wie im Schuhkarton. Lebt der verantwortliche Mixermensch noch? Die sind sowas Soundtechnisch vermasselt, das selbst mit Cubase nichts mehr zu machen ist. Wie es so damals auch in der Philipshalle in Düsseldorf geklungen hat.
Really interesting that the beginning of this track is sung by Mo Moore. And on the later concert DVD "Pure", where Moore wasn't there, the lines are sung by drummer Ron Howden. Seems like this bit is the only one by Nektar that's not sung by Roye.
What would have been nice: Animation sequences based on the awesome original album artwork. Great video though. Excellent reproduction and before it was super trendy to reproduce complete cult classic albums.

I used to live near the house where they lived and practised and sometimes at night sneeked near to listen ... these years were really great!!!

An English band that lived in Germany. I think the good people of Darmstadt know them rather well.
This Band should have been So So So much bigger... Maybe 1 single could propelled them..
1 of my favs' from the 70s teenager adventures...
