Ok Kenny, what am I not getting as a long time fan? I’m rooting for 23XI , not a fan but really think that it’s in NASCAR and the teams benefit to give permanent charters to teams, adds value to these teams. Why such a iron grip? Indy even gave charters? What are we seeing wrong?
NFL owners own the team and sometimes the stadium, if NASCAR wants to be like other sports let the team owners have REAL ownership. Can you imagine going to Hendrick Raceway, Joe Gibbs Raceway, etc etc and of coarse a few NASCAR raceways.
@@z50com Why would race teams own tracks? This isn't the NFL! While NASCAR owns a few tracks, Bruton Smith's company owns most of the tracks NASCAR races on. Other series, like IndyCar race there too. Most of Smith's tracks also have drag strips, where the NHRA hosts National Events. Race tracks are expensive to own and maintain.
Kind of sounds like they might not even be racing the 500 because they've got an issue depending upon if they can get an injunction because If they don't get the injunction even on appeal they can't race unless they drop the lawsuit because NASCAR does not allow even open teams to show up if you are suing them

Agree on Ty Majeski. Guys like him are what keeps me at short tracks (dirt or asphalt). I only pay attention to NASCAR by watching (1) next days’ 12-15 minute highlights (2) Kenny Wallace, and (3) Eric Estepp [“Out of The Groove”] My attention span is too short to watch 2-3-4 hours of NASCAR !

Ive honestly loved the playoffs, and The "Boys have at it" era. It has made the last 10 years, with drivers policing themselves, and with the playoffs in the last 5 years or so, really entertaining. I really feel like if they take away "Boys have at it" and keep penalizing guys for just random aggressive driving, and calming down the playoffs. The sport is going to end up being far less exciting and your going to have way less aggressiveness, and way more "It was a good points day" Ive been watching since 92' and the worst part of the sport was when they were penalizing guys for aggressive driving every week. I dont want it to go back to that....
NexGen cars have almost completely morphed optically into IMSA. Get a couple flat rear tires and your Cup car high centers. We know what trouble that has caused for guys that have to be towed/ flatbed back to the pits. They are out of the race for flats but it’s their fault for that unnecessary performance underliner. The wheels need to be US Mag Indy style rather than the US Mag Rambler style they are running today. Not appealing to the fans. I counted 6 to 7 camera changes today at for each Xfinity cars qualifying (look out, Sawalich is the real deal) lap so no sense of speed for us TV viewers. Hopefully Prime figures out how to televise a race.
Who even cares about NASCAR anymore? That sanctioning body has been shit since 2005. There is so much better racing to watch and get involved in, Woo Sprints/Late Models, Lucas Oil Late Models,..High Limit Sprint Cars is phenomenal in its 2nd year,..USMTS is always great fun and a good watch and so on and so forth! Stage racing is awful and not being rewarded for consistency through a season, like “Mr.Consistency” @MarkMartin back in the day has made NASCAR un-watchable. Anyways, pay these teams or get bent NASCAR,… maybe just maybe that will help bring the fans back,…big maybe!🤷♂️
Wow did not know that about majeski. I imagine people in that scenario might take an engineering job at a top level cup team like Hendrick but I wouldn't expect someone to leave the snowball derby winning short track car to take a job at a truck team.
Charters were created so teams would have some value when they folded or the owner decided to exit, otherwise they had usually rode that horse into the ground. Incentive plan/ a perk? The circus is owned by NASCAR, The Pavilion is owned by NASCAR, Nascars revenue now is generated by broadcast. Not live attendance. If format changes and Circus fills with fans once again, then sponsorships will follow, but for now you either play with the bone NASCAR throws you, or you fade away!
All teams but two signed the agreement, maybe not totally happy with everything but accepted it anyway. Two teams said we don't like it and will not sign. We think you Nascar are making more profit than is fair. Use a little common sense. How do you think the case will be ruled? Hint. If all teams had said, we are not signing, then there would be some major adjustments made by Nascar. That would have forced Nascar's hand. But now nothing is forced. 23xi and FR will come out losing more than they would have if they had signed.

23xi still has a good chance but they need more support and nascar immediately responded to the lawsuit with, we dont want to have a charter with you anymore, cutting them off and scaring anyone else from joining, just acting like the parent again, that's the problem, teams need to be on equal terms with NASCAR before they can negotiate a fair contract, of course their job is regulation and authority but teams are not children and the charters are supposed to be an agreement but teams have no power to negotiate and nascar dictates everything, they don't listen to anyone and clearly don't care if they sign. Won't watch this weekend, won't go to any races next year, won't watch a single event (it's not a race) on tv. NASCAR leadership is so out of touch with reality. I read Phelps comments this morning. Guy is out of his mind. The past 20 years of piss poor decisions have finally alienated this fan to the point im out. I know one gives a F about me or my thoughts, but NASCAR - I got two middle fingers for ya.
That's a big blow in the courts for 23XI and FRM hopes for an injunction. Technically will be open teams by 1/1/25 unless they resolve the charter lawsuit by then. That's a big downside for being an open team with no guarantee spots and no large prize money pool. This race manipulation stuff needs to stop and last week's Martinsville race was the more egregious since the MWR spingate race at Richmond. Thorsport is the longest running team in the truck series with multiple championships with several different drivers including the new champion Majeski.
We all know the competitive nature of MJ, and I think that will transcend continuously in the court system, meaning Jordon and Hamlin won't give up easily. Eventually, both sides will tire of it, and a mutually acceptable charter agreement will be made.
They didn't lose three cases. That was one motion at the court said no to that has nothing to do with the trial itself and if anybody can bring NASCAR down is Michael Jordan
Good. You pick a fight you better be prepared to pack your lunch and fight. They can’t get 43 cars, so show up and you’re in. And NASCAR said they were going to have less charters. So what does that make the Stewart Haas charters worth??
And as an open team, you only have to attempt to qualify for every race. So if an open team misses 2 or 3 races because they didn't qualify on speed - as long as they qualify for the playoffs (a win or points), they are still eligible.
Your comments prove Michael Jordan is right about NASCAR. Michael Jordan is to NASCAR like Phil Mickleson is to the PGA Tour. I hope NASCAR rots personally. They left us and we are not coming back. That said, keep telling it like it is, Kenny.

I think people need to quit catering to NASCAR and start going back to dirt track racing and cater to limited small time racing revide local tracks and racing
To be honest, I quit watching the entire race like I did when Gordon, Rusty, Martin and Earnhardt were racing. Now I just watch the last 20 laps or so..
I don't think we'll see the end of this personally just as Hamlin said drivers aren't going to not listen to what sponsorship tells them to do or a manufacturer.
I don't care anymore. 410's and late models are so much enjoyable/fun! Now all this silly, greedy BS. Hate the cars any improvements that they've tried to make have been negated by controversy.
Again, inconsistent officiating. Penalize Heim for cutting out of the line. In 2022, BOTH Zane Smith and Ben Rhodes cut out on the final restart. Plain as day on the video! NO PENALTY!
Kenny, to all these people who are against NASCAR. I have worked for two of the largest employers in the US and abroad. Just because these companies were making great profits, I could not sue them in court to pay me more. NASCAR can make however much money they can make, It does not mean someone is going to be able to sue for a share of their profits. It's called Capitalism. Besides no one would be pulling for 23XI if it was not for Michael Jordan being an owner. No one hardly mentions FRM.
It was filed in North Carolina the lawsuit and injunction. The judge was considering stepping aside or whatever for any biased reasons but both sides are like thats ok
So they warned the drivers, snd no more earnings. Okay, sooo, what's that mean though? What's the penalty going forward, if they do that again? They'll THEN fine them what they should have fined them this time? Where's the detterence in that? They don't care. That little fine is peanuts to them. Have they made the penalty extremely much more severe? Because that's the only thing that might have them think twice.

Great Day for Nascar! Glad they won... And hopefully Nascar won't let them race in Feb at Daytona. Glad they learned little Michael J a lesson here. Don't mess with the big dogs on the block.
Cars should qualify for the race. Only exception should be championship provisional if they still do that. Why do they qualify if there guaranteed a spot? Save the motor and equipment.
That would be the worst thing in the world to give them permanent charters And they don't even deserve a voice at the table
@ why? They are the sport? Right?
@ I think they would love that.. Hendrick has already built their own test track so….
So now if 2311 should win the Daytona 500 in 2025 they will only take in 500,000 instead of 2 million big loss for 2311
Kind of sounds like they might not even be racing the 500 because they've got an issue depending upon if they can get an injunction because If they don't get the injunction even on appeal they can't race unless they drop the lawsuit because NASCAR does not allow even open teams to show up if you are suing them
They never penalized blaney for running over the air hose.
Yea but I had to put my Rebel Flag away because of Bubba and Jordan, that's a violation of my rights
So that is where you go? and we were having a good conversation. at least leave it out of this
Kenny , you are the only nascar news I haven’t deleted or ignored.. i wrote last week i was out , didnt watch the Phoenix disaster at all .. We went to see my buddies TOP SPORTSMAN DRAG CAR COMPETE AT THE LUCAS SERIES in Las Vegas..My wife forgot and told me who won and it just made me laugh out loud but also made me sick to think who really dominated the series all year and were denied because of ridiculous rules .. to be completely honest TYLER REDICK SHOULD BE GIVEN THE BIG ONE , but that would make sense…! 😮😂 GOODBYE little nascar …🏴 🏴😷😤
Kenny, they ain’t been 43 cars show up in 1520 years
I HEAR YOU / I HAVE BEEN TO DAYTONA IN FEB / THURS RACES 30 EACH / ONE YEAR A CONSI RACE FRI MORNING ( BLACKIE WANGRIN WON IT) =THE OLD DAYS / KEEPS THE NOODLE WORKING
Hey Kenny I just heard Bobby Alison has passed! Maybe you could come up with a Bobby story
Damn, at least NASCAR gave him credit for winning that race a couple weeks before, RIP legend, I wasn't even around when he raced but that's sad, I dread the day, I know eventually it's coming, when The King passes away, I hope he lives to be 100, but God only knows how much time he's got, Kyle Petty is getting up there too.
"Hey Tyler this is Rick Hendrick" 😂😂😂
Theres 7 charters for sale lol
doesn't everybody always need more money? ya gotta pay ta play. if ya can't afford it, then don't start. all big money is dirty. change my mind-ain't happenin'!!
Thank you Kenny!!!
This isn’t the end of things- they are going to collect later instead of sooner is likely.
GO NASCAR
Ive honestly loved the playoffs, and The "Boys have at it" era. It has made the last 10 years, with drivers policing themselves, and with the playoffs in the last 5 years or so, really entertaining. I really feel like if they take away "Boys have at it" and keep penalizing guys for just random aggressive driving, and calming down the playoffs. The sport is going to end up being far less exciting and your going to have way less aggressiveness, and way more "It was a good points day"
Ive been watching since 92' and the worst part of the sport was when they were penalizing guys for aggressive driving every week. I dont want it to go back to that....
The > 40 car call is pretty safe. I can't remember the last 43 car field.
Never liked sports car racing so I hate Gen 7 cars.
Let the fans vote
AFTER NASCAR OPENS THEIR BOOKS
Not only is NASCAR non-stick, it sounds like a Gotham Steel ad, too!
I agree. Sprintcar racing is on the rise
It’s a beautiful Great Britain type grey sky day lol I love cloudy days tho
Nascar needs a four banger class with 1,800 lb. limit..go as light as you want and 2,500 CC limit. Drivers are only over 16 or over 50.
None of them liked it they could not afford not to sign
@@JerryColeman-m8wRichard Childress said he had to sign it to honor contracts and keep employees from losing their jobs, but he didn't want to sign it.
I can't believe 23-11 & front row didn't have enough respect for people like Hendrick, Petty, Childress, Penske, to go consult them before they started something like this.
They don't have the money Jordan has, they are on side rooting for Jordan and Hamlin
@@vh4504 I don't think money has a dam thing to do with it, that said look at Penske or Hendrick Just think a little when you talk about wealth do just a little research.
@@markc9409 They are not worth what Jordan is in money or public thought
Richard Petty doesn't have a damn say on anything He's not a team owner he's just an ambassador anymore
That's because NASCAR is the biggest cheaters out there.
No respect! Also Steve said there will 1000% be penalties against manufacturers next year. Congrats Ty! Time for xfinity! Go Allgaier! From the back in a backup car! Anything's possible with a horseshoe on your head! Let's go!
NASCAR never said they couldn't have charters anymore at all just You want to race with the benefits The Charter system gives you you sign the deal
@@johnhaas2523 Nascar attorney Chris Yates made it clear “They have been calling NASCAR a series of names that undermine NASCAR’s brand and goodwill. NASCAR only wants to enter into charter agreements with teams who want to work collectively to grow the sport.” Understandable considering how nasty this got, but it only got nasty because Nascar wouldn't negotiate
Maybe Joe Bob can buy himself a car and show up to have MJ cut him a check to keep him from qualifying.
Congrats Ty Majeski! I really think that if Roush's Xfinity program hadn't started imploding about the time he joined, he'd likely be in Cup by now.
Roush is done did. he is irrelevant. roush was too cheap, kept Mark Martin from winning a championship. Good by, roush.
Kenny has professional painthat looks like a fiber classic door you need to put jel stain on that door then apply two coats of spar urethane finish
Glad to help I can walk you through it 😅
Long ago you had to qualify to make the race and if you didn’t you sat your butt out,NASCAR is making millionaires out of you guys you should be satisfied and not get to greedy
It is NOT 1995
@ who said it was
I know this isn't an airport...
I wanted to make it to the end of KFB's career to walk away from NASCAR, but it has gotten to be so hard for me to watch the current product, that i'm done.
He talked about views but didn't say how many more the should have had if the knew what they doing and the things social media is saying
Hope the 2 teams beat NASCAR in federal court.
Yes Herman you are right again. 🎉
Guys, I told y'all before Ty was going to win championships and move up the ranks quickly!
We all know the competitive nature of MJ, and I think that will transcend continuously in the court system, meaning Jordon and Hamlin won't give up easily. Eventually, both sides will tire of it, and a mutually acceptable charter agreement will be made.
thanks herm!
They didn't lose three cases. That was one motion at the court said no to that has nothing to do with the trial itself and if anybody can bring NASCAR down is Michael Jordan
He's not going to succeed bringing NASCAR down
It’s called racing a show entertainment just race that is what the people that buy tickets come to see!!!
Good. You pick a fight you better be prepared to pack your lunch and fight. They can’t get 43 cars, so show up and you’re in. And NASCAR said they were going to have less charters. So what does that make the Stewart Haas charters worth??
Who cares about 43 cars each week Because there's not even 43 competitive cars never less 40 competitive cars
@@johnhaas2523 There aren't 30
@@JerryColeman-m8w That is true but I was mostly talking about to even get to 40 or 43 cars starting each race
kenny i like your show but stop putting the coffee cup in your face put the cup down once in awhile!
What happens if you win a race without a charter, are you still in the chase?
The charters only guarantee a starting spot. If any team earns their way into the chase, they’re in. Charter or not.
And as an open team, you only have to attempt to qualify for every race. So if an open team misses 2 or 3 races because they didn't qualify on speed - as long as they qualify for the playoffs (a win or points), they are still eligible.

RIP Bobby Allison...
Your comments prove Michael Jordan is right about NASCAR. Michael Jordan is to NASCAR like Phil Mickleson is to the PGA Tour. I hope NASCAR rots personally. They left us and we are not coming back. That said, keep telling it like it is, Kenny.
Then why are you still here?
What?!? Phil Mickelson has been part of the PGA for years! Jordan just got here.
NASCAR is a monopoly I give you a good example Rockefeller Standard Oil back in the day was the Monopoly had to hold on everything that had to do with oil one company until Eisenhower came along and broke it up into Seneca Lucas Oil 76 I can go on and on and on it's something like that when you control every single aspect of somebody else's scenario buy for me you can't sue me you can only race on my tracks you can't do this you can't do that no NASCAR team since NASCAR began has made a profit that's a monopoly the freshest families are billionaires they make the profits they barely give the NASCAR team any money from the TV rights they take it all that's a monopoly when you come with a contract 6 hours prior to the deadline sign this or else who does that Monopoly so they can win these little battles here and there when it come down to the nitty gritty it's not going to be the same as Standard Oil but it's not going to be no more Monopoly Jordan and front row will win at the end guarantee Kennedy can talk about all this nonsense he want to talk about why he want to stick with NASCAR his roots he's out he hasn't been racing in a decade loyalty finding Dandy You Don't Own any cars in NASCAR so you have nothing to lose it's easier to talk about throw up against a billionaire he has nothing to lose neither Michael Jordan money for money so all this small talk about this they lost another one they just beginning Let It Be written let it be so

Ty Majeski is another example of NASCAR bias against Wisconsin drivers. Congrats to him!
Should 23xl just say oh well nascar y’all win ?
Do you still get your General Motors gift bag? You're all in.
Let’s just go race
They have to show harm. Just like Denny said, there's getting ready to be a lot of harm. I don't like Denny, but I love that NASCAR is challenged.
It's interesting all the people that quit watching NASCAR, yet here they are complaining & commenting. So definitely still interested in NASCAR.
That is what I was thinking, hell I am a sprint car guy, but this shit is great
To be honest, I quit watching the entire race like I did when Gordon, Rusty, Martin and Earnhardt were racing. Now I just watch the last 20 laps or so..
I don't think we'll see the end of this personally just as Hamlin said drivers aren't going to not listen to what sponsorship tells them to do or a manufacturer.
The manufacturers aren't going to be able to do what they have been doing because The manufacturers are getting a lecture and new rules
With expedited discovery and a fast-tracked case win for 23XI, some need to understand the judicial process.
Discovery is the biggest thing
Hahaha
Always right 😂🫡
I don't care anymore. 410's and late models are so much enjoyable/fun! Now all this silly, greedy BS. Hate the cars any improvements that they've tried to make have been negated by controversy.
What would happen if they went to single car teams only? And increased the field to 43 cars?..... thoughts?
Nope. 250000 thousand just to buy a car. And that is the cheapest part
They could be sued if they were breaking anti-trust laws, which is what this lawsuit is about.
@richardstephens5570 yeah Michael Jordan don't need the money, the antitrust was what he mentioned in his intent to sue NASCAR.
Thank god
Hi keneey
Grate video Kenny
It’s a tournament bracket really it isn’t racing anymore!🤷🏻♂️ no need for consistency just win and you’re in.
They need more money, they all live in mansions😮
Who?
It is so they can pay all the people on race teams more. They have a problem keeping the best employees
So, where are these cases being held?
It was filed in North Carolina the lawsuit and injunction. The judge was considering stepping aside or whatever for any biased reasons but both sides are like thats ok
@johnhaas2523 thanks, can they get a fair trail in North Carolina?
So they warned the drivers, snd no more earnings.
Okay, sooo, what's that mean though? What's the penalty going forward, if they do that again? They'll THEN fine them what they should have fined them this time? Where's the detterence in that? They don't care. That little fine is peanuts to them.
Have they made the penalty extremely much more severe? Because that's the only thing that might have them think twice.
