I wouldn't say 35's are required, but they will make life easier. The boulders are big, so you're going to be dragging across them, a lot. You'll need lockers to run the entire route. The climb out of the canyon is legit! Thanks for watching. More trail info can be found at www.trailsoffroad.com/trails/19-sunflower-mine-loop
do you know what final crawl ratio the guy in the bronco has? id like to know what diff gears, what 1st gear, and what t-case ratio he has. you know anything about his rig? seems like it works real good and has nice gear, like 100:1 or so?
I have asked Todd the owner for details. He's currently doing massive repairs after a two roll on a steep climb. He went end over end and tore up a bunch of stuff. He's going to be lowing it a couple inches and hopefully adding some sway bars! Thanks for checking us out and when I hear back on the gearing I'll post it.
imthenoid69 I remember that and it’s certainly gotten tougher over the past couple seasons. You can always turn around, worth the time to run to the mine. Not bad up to there, we pick the hard lines on purpose. Thanks and hope to see you on the trail soon.
@@xploremor Been to the mine many times but not since it burnt. Never done the loop. I drove the road to the mine in a stock Silverado way back when before the road became fun. If you remember the old yellow truck that was upside down by the mine equipment, it used to be intact and sitting on top of the hill overlooking the mine. Some thugs pushed it over for fun many years ago. I will go there soon. Been a long time.
So this is what the obstacles look like, without water haha.
What an awesome vid on an awesome , rugged and very scenic trail. This is in AZ? Would love to wheel it.
Thank you and yes it's in AZ, just a little outside Phoenix. Complete details can be found at trailsoffroad.com

Are 35’s required probably for this trail? Jeep TJ on 31’s with 2.5 lift.
