Blueberry and raspberry lime drizzle cake - a perfect summer fresh fruit cake

Thanks for stopping by my kitchen! This lime drizzle cake has such a fresh fruity flavour; a perfect cake for the summer months.
~~ Ingredients ~~
For the cake:
• 8oz/225g soft butter
• 8oz/225g caster sugar
• 3 eggs
• Zest of 2 limes
• 1oz/25g ground almonds
• 9oz/250g self raising flour
• Pinch of salt
• 2 tablespoons lime juice
• 1 tablespoon milk
• 4oz/100g blueberries
• 4oz/100g raspberries
For the syrup:
• 8 tablespoons lime juice
• Grated zest 1 lime
• 5oz/140g caster sugar
Note: I used 9 limes in total for this recipe, although they were very small. If your limes are bigger you will need less.
