Reading the timestamp descriptions shows how much fun this stream is going to be for a lot of Phase Connect fans...
Oh cool, I am more on Hololive (and was to a lesser extent on Niji) so I don't know much about Phase lorewise, this will be an interesting stream to watch (I will start watching, and hopefully finish the whole thing in one sitting, right after I post this comment.
My first thought about armchair lore: IKEA
Before stream: Oh wow, maybe vtubing finally going mainstream. Look at this perfectly reasonable, socially acceptable individual.
After: Nope, he's actively nerding out about fanfics. One of us, I guess.
Ooh man, LocalScriptMan is such a great resource for writing, i love his vids! His worksheet for character motivation and vids on the enneagram model are GOATED!!
The only lore in Phase Connect I care about is Dizzy and Sakana being married.

-Domain Expansion makes me think of a more effective version of Dimension D from Super Paper Mario. A pocket dimension in which its creator, Dimentio, is "256 times stronger" within it. Of course in-game, this quality isn't reflected, which Dimentio notes upon when he's defeated. The response he gets is that it's likely that Dimension D also made _everyone else_ in it 256 times stronger, thus negating any benefit he would have received (and referencing the concept of interger overflow, hence the 256 number that's spout out.)
-On the note of trying to flesh out lore, I kinda wish there would be official light novel or comic adaptations to the v-tubers' lore. Mujin did something along those lines that for his debut by releasing a comic of his character's lore. Though how well that works since as touched on in the vod, character lore and the person behind character can be very different.
-The yapping reminds me I should get on about exploring my own v-tubing concepts.
Regarding your second thing Hololive did release some manga about their talents. And the HoloAlt manga and the HoloX manga are pretty connected to their lore (Shiraken manga is very fun, especially as it was released as voiced videos on their talents but it is mostly a high school setting slice of life thing. Miko might help out at (and live in) a shrine and Noel might be in the Kendo club but they are not actually a shrine maiden or a knight)
(Also Aqua's visual novel makes use of her being a maid for the setting, There is also that Marine game made by the same guy that mad evil god Korone, which uses Marine's pirate thing and age thing (though not the original lore of her only being a wannabe pirate cosplayer without a ship).)
It is certainly far from a full on series but it is something (HoloX manga in particular has two volumes).

I have this headcanon for Vesper that he's some ancient thing who should've died long ago but lost his ticket to the underworld so he can't enter the place. He didn't find that ticket so he gave up looking for it and decided to start over and over time, he saw Elysium's history unfold and recorded it, making the library in the prologue lore comic
