Conservative pundit Ben Shapiro admits he was ‘destroyed’ after cutting short TV debate

American conservative commentator Ben Shapiro has admitted he was “destroyed” in a TV interview this week with British journalist Andrew Neil after being widely mocked for storming out of the debate and telling Neil: “I’m popular, and no one has ever heard of you.”
Shapiro complained repeatedly throughout the interview, on the BBC’s “Politics Live” program, as the longtime broadcaster and former newspaper editor pressed him on some of his previous comments.
“This is a giant waste of time, in the sense that the entire interview is designed for you to shout slogans or old things that I’ve said at me,” he told Neil.
“I’m not inclined to continue an interview with a person as badly motivated as you,” he said, cutting the interview short despite earlier telling Neil he had “reached out to so many people across the aisle to have conversations with them.”

If you have a gun in your house, close to your bed, you must hide it in a place where "no one can find it"; but, first of all, I'd like to know where such a place is, and secondly, even if you put it in a box with a code combination, how can you say you are using it to protect yourself from thieves? Can you really open such a box during an emergency?
Just use a taser. We don't need guns, we just don't. Even police men and women don't need them. A taser can cover all the distance you need and it's not lethal (unless the person has a heart disease).
If you want to argue that "in that case only criminals would have them" - well, one could never and ever understand if you are a criminal or not when you are buying a gun. I may perfectly buy a gun and look ok, but if I had bad intentions I could perfectly look like a nice guy, right? How may I understand I am ready to use a gun? How could I be sure I won't use it when enraged?
Guns did not solve anything. The only use I can understand is: if you live in a large territory, or in an isolated farm or ranch etc, I can see why you want a rifle because you always fear your cattle may be stolen. But that's a totally different lifestyle. We don't live in a far west village. We live in apartments, we can call the police, we have cameras, we can stop a criminal without killing and avoid putting other people's life at risk.

Ben admits that the term irresponsible would be more appropriate than bad because you can be a good human and make an irresponsible decision. Even after Ben changes his terminology to be more accurate in the situation, Pierce still chooses to use the old terminology after Ben has said it is not good terminology to use. Pierce acts as though a child choosing to interrupt Ben and get mad when Ben continues his sentence and uses old terminology that has been recanted and corrected because it gives him an advantage and he can not seem to think of a better argument than to repeat the same words over and over again till he can get to a commercial break.
You wrote all of that but failed to realise that the whole idea of vetting people on whether they're "good or bad" or "responsible or irresponsible" is totally ludicrous. @@nutnut9915 Shapiro claimed she went from responsible to irresponsible and failed to clarify where to even remotly draw the line and why the line should be drawn there. For example, if the line would be drawn at people who have any sort of mental issues, then that excludes roughly 1/3rd of the American population from the ability to own weapons, which would likely just extend to the families of said people, because there is no legal way for our system to accurately observe the responsibility (or lack there of) any person in the country.
