Gaim Virtual Reality Training

The Gaim Virtual reality Training system, fun and very realistic. This systems work with the Meta Quest VR headset. Gaim offers several different software packages: hunting, shooting sports, clay shooting, and the ultimate package. Both the rifle and pistol are very high quality and realistic. My only con of the system is the self defense scenarios are only available to law enforcement and military, very disappointing.

I miss the C02 simulated handgun to whatever was issued at the time with a large movie screen with a computer for shoot/don’t shoot training. The scenarios where it would pop up at real life speeds. A white dot was a miss. Yellow, was a periphery hit, Green, a nonfatal, red was dead. I loved those things. I remember one scenario was at a mall. They had some martial artist flip over an armed security guard and took his pistol. He proceeded to run randomly firing like a mass shooter. He was moving fast. I took the shot. The computer stopped. The FI said, “I don’t think I would have taken that shot at distance like that, let’s see how you did.” A bright red mark where the shooter’s head was. It made my day, not to be cliche.

As much as the coolfire is fun, the recoil is very much not the same as your real gun, it's a nice reminder to grip the gun hard in dryfire, but that's about it
