I had this pre-ordered, but then gave it a lot of thought and realized that it felt very overpriced for what you got - Soul Hackers 2 had a much better LE (both Japanese and International) and at a better price ffs- so I cancelled and just got the standard edition instead. Feel like I made the right call!
This CE much like the P5R Once More edition, seems to be kinda overpriced and bundled with things that aren't really necessary. How come P5R Phantom Thieves Edition and P5's Take Your Heart Edition's contents seem much more valuable and both of those CE's cost less. They also come with a steelbook which up until recently was a common thing with Atlus games. Hope they go back to Steelbook, hardcover artbook, ost, and some random goody for $100 formula in the future. I'll pick this up later on a sale since I'll be busy with FF7 Rebirth anyway
I agree that they should have included a steelbook and the artbook should have been hardcover but I'm not sure what you mean by "bundled with things that aren't really necessary"? It literally just has a 2 disc 60 song OST, a 60 page artbook, a figure/statue and a physical copy of the game with a code for all the DLC. Those are basically the cornerstones of a good collector's edition, if there was a steelbook and the artbook was hardcover it would be pretty much perfect.
