So in realistic terms, it’s just as likely that this guy was a trans shooter, or a Perez Hilton fan, or an otherwise crazy person. There’s no rhyme or reason to it, and everyone looking for a coherent political motive has a chance of finding hints of one somewhere in what shakes out. But it won’t be a good fit any more than you could fit one onto Charles Guiteau.
What we do know is that he tried to kill Trump. MSM has been calling him Hitler for 8 years. Nobody thinks it would have been immoral to kill Hitler in WWII. It was nearly global goal by definition. They are trotting out that the kid was a registered republican and will form their narrative around that fact. However, Pennsylvania is a closed primary state, and like several closed primary states, there are many people who register in the party which they oppose in order to have a negative influence in that party's primaries. (I know it's stupid, but I actually know several democrats that do this).
Here is what they are not going to tell you about Crooks;

It's pretty despicable to bring Matt into this. Demolition ranch is the most g-rated gun channel out there. He teaches gun safety, performs tests, and makes fun content. Furthermore , Matt is a family man who loves his wife, demonstrates good morals, and works as a veterinarian. You won't find many better human beings than him. He does not promote this.

Maybe you haven’t heard but PA is a closed primary state so in order to vote for a (R) candidate you have to be registered. Ditto for (D) as well. It is very, very well known that, and most all of the states that are set up like this for primaries. There were a crap load of Democrats that disaffiliated from their party temporarily and long enough to vote for Nikki Haley, which was their way of attempting to get Trump out of the race.
It doesn’t really take a rocket scientist to figure this out or the fact that this guy also was donating to the young Democrats and act blue before he could even vote.
