End of June Update | Plot Tour | Planting Out

Can you believe it's the end of June already? Time for another plot tour to update on how things are.
Also have some plants to plant out and keep on growing. Lots more work ahead, but finally we might start to be getting a harvest.

🎉🎉 beans yeahhhh, I’m putting some direct in my squash pots for a later harvest. I’m going to sow some lettuce and spring onions again hopefully in a day or so. My winter squash was iffy too 😢. Hope everything goes well with potting on 🤞🤞. Have an awesome week Mark, ☔️🌞🇨🇦

I put my bush beans seeds directly in the ground.
It should be ok to plant those out.

Had lots of issues with slugs and wet weather, so my previous beans haven’t survived. Hope these do better.

Something like ground eggshells, coffee grounds seem to work enough to keep the slugs at bay.
They really like to hide under pots, wood planks and plastic sheeting.
On a hot day pull that sheeting away, let the soil dry out a bit.
