Traditionally, the Tie comes first and the Pocket Sq. comes second, as it is viewed as an accessory. Also, the half knot that you are wearing goes best with the narrower Lapels that are in fashion on men's suits these days. The older larger Windsor Knot looks out of place with the narrow Lapels.
Some of my favs are Fougere Royale, Bottega Veneta Pour Homme (EDP), Encre' Noir, Gucci Intense Oud, Hermes Bel Ami Vetiver, Egoiste (not Platinum), and Armani Prive' Rose D'arabie . . . just to mention a few.

I definitely vote for the suit and square look. Everyone can do a tie. It takes style to pull off a pocket square.
Or for a plot twist you could go full on tuxedo and top hat.

Valentino Uomo Noir Absolu is one of my favorites for fall/winter. The Opening is similar to Tom Ford Black Orchid like you said but the drydown is how I wish Tom Ford Nior Extreme went. +iris

Agreed. I find that vetiver and most fougeres can be worn 12 months a year, no problem.

Hey Ash, great choices of classy frags for this video. I own a few of those, and would definitely agree that they are classy. I love The Scent Private Accord...definitely my fave in that line. I also love a Guerlain Vetiver, as it can be worn anytime and is a fantastic work scent, although I find myself reaching for Vetiver Extreme more. My most worn 3 classy frags I have been wearing lately, in my eyes, are Penhaligon Sartorial, Givenchy Gentleman EDP, and Lalique L’insoumis. Thanks Ash! 💪

Ash, do you agree Spicebomb extreme is for the absolute frigid temperatures? I found that in the slightest humidity, the fragrance hops up and heads out! I literally would drink this stuff if I could; I love it so much!

Hey Ashton I've probably mentioned it before but since I can't shut up about it might as well repeat myself but you should definitely try Cargo de Nuit by Prada. I love Prada Luna Rossa Black but Cargo de Nuit is on another level.

Hey my friend, great videos as always! As I go further in my quest to find the fragrances that appeal to me, I realize that I love green colognes, old school masculine colognes and woody colognes. I also find that I can't stand 90% of the blue colognes. Growing up in the mountains of Wyoming probably has something to with that. Polo green is one that I love as well as Rihanah Private Oud (Tom Ford Oud Wood clone). I wanted to see if you had any recommendations for me towards these categories of colognes? Thank you ahead of time!
Azzaro visit is really a fantastic scent, it lasts forever and smells like yes Gucci rush and kenzo Tokyo 👌 have a couple bottles on stash.

Ironically? 90s are the best fragrance decade as far as my nose is concerned and I'm just 29 y.o.

I wanted to buy Prada Black but didn't pull the trigger in the end because some reviewers killed it for me, calling it an almost unisex fragrance. Would U agree to that? BTW I've recently found MinParis at the same price point as Prada. Which would U consider a better deal? TNX

i would disagree on the noir absolu on it's opening n dry down. On my skin i like the opening but the dry down is too much black orchidish and witch i cant stand and thats why i didn't buy it when smelled it last month on Rome! But that's just my take on i :)

Last year this 70 year old lady LOVED my Luna Rosa Black. I appreciated the compliment but ran. It’s still one of my favs though
The tie is definitely better than the pocket square. Despite what the top rated comment says, I think the loose tie works. Considering how relaxed your delivery is, a tighter tie would look out of place.

I got a sample of Parfums de Marly Kalan and it opens with this warm orange candy vibe that settles down some after a few minutes. But I don’t have PdM Kalan $$$. Christmas wish list 👍
