Beautiful video. End of an era right there. The A380 never ceizes to amaze me with its sheer size. A unique aircraft! Times are changing so we probably will never see an aircraft quite like this produced again.
Thank you! I guess we'll see four engine aircraft in the future with hydrogen for ETOPS reasons, but indeed nothing like the size of an A380. ~ Ole ✈️

Sadly you’re right. The concept of the A380 was conceived in the 1990s - even by the time it first flew, things had changed irreversibly. I’m just thankful it exists at all, and hopefully we can still enjoy seeing it in the skies for years to come 🙂
I hope they keep this thing in service for decades to come.

A day of great sadness as the beginning of the end of an era is here. A380 is my favourite aircraft and I hope they still flying long into the future however once Emirates is done with them in the 2030’s (I think they said if I can remember) then the end of the quad jet (jet fuel powered) will have come to an end. A truly sad day.
The 747 and its new life as a cargo aircraft would like a word with you about the end of quad jets :P
@@OmnipotentEnt good point. Passenger carrying quad jets then. Although cargo will probably follow in time.
The last 747-8F (cargo) will be delivered in 2022. The last 747-8i passenger aircraft was delivered on 31st July 2017. So unfortunately the era of quadjets is coming to an end :(
@@infinitelyairborne4142 It will be a sad day to say the least! The only quad jet I've flown on has been an a340, so I'm hoping I can catch a DLH flight out of LAX soon seeing as they seem to be fairly consistent in using either a 747 or a350 to fly FRA - LAX and back.

I'd like to get on this one in March as I got on the first one Emirates received A6-EDA and flew on that beauty from DXB to AUK. In March its MAN to DXB and its always a pleasure to fly on a 380 this will be my 20 and 21st times.

They just stopped it's production, but it will be in service for more than 5 to 7 years

Is it possible that in future they might start the production of A380 AGAIN?
In theory it would be possible if Airbus would keep all the production hangars as they are right now. But what is happening is that the unused space is decommissioned and the hangars are used for other aircraft. This is the last frame and we'll never see a newly built again. It is also not Airbus just putting some parts together, the A380 is a giant supply chain with hundreds of other companies involved.
Tim Clark, the president of Emirates told in a recent interview that he sees demand for a giant aircraft like this in the far future. We'll see what planemakers will do, personally I wouldn't be surprised if we don't ever see such a massive airliner again. ~ Ole ✈️

A very sad farewell! It was and is the most impressive aircraft Airbus has ever built. But unfortunately the world has changed and passengers nowadays prefer more direct flights requiring smaller aircraft.
Why have they stopped making them? They can carry 500 people.
And that was the problem, many Airlines struggled to fill the aircraft because only when fully booked the aircraft was profitable
"Low approach"? Looked more like a missed approach. Not your usual sort of "flyby".
Flyby, lowpass, what ever you want to call it, it definitely was planned and approved by ATC. Airbus calls it a low approach
Production stopped, OMG, i have been saving for years, I was going to Toulouse next week to put my order in, damn it, nobody told me it was ending, is it due to Covid?, i even cleared my garage to fit it in, all the cars in the street were going to park only on the left hand side of the street to let fly in and out with my A380, what now, all i can say it is a bad show on Airbus's part to not let the hospital know where i stay the last one was spoken for, a simple email or call, i will give the money to my church instead.

It is. MSN272 is the last ever A380 produced and was delivered yesterday. The production line is now closed and no other A380s can be ordered

Who are you that I should trust you? It is the last factory new A380 aircraft delivered to a customer.
