12:06 - You know, even though what Coop is saying comes out of nowhere and it's funny, I think the line is super underrated as a character moment for Coop. Yeah, Tallhand Mudlake could talk to HORSES. He's defending his Native friend's Native roots to the same Native friend. He wasn't just... "some generic Indian," and Coop remembers these small details, despite clearly being played as a John Wayne / Clint Eastwood kind of character whose heroics outshine the plot of any film starring Cooper Howard. It's almost like he was offended because the guy called his own character a "generic Indian," even knowing that with the timeframe and general atmosphere of that "Man from Deadhorse" scene, the dude's probably played "generic Indian" in every role he's been in. Look at his reaction to that - he knows Coop's a good dude.
I like how Bud casually brushes off Cooper's comment about design flaws in the T45 power armor getting people killed as, "product management has never really been my bag". Then later, he says that the future of mankind boils down to one word, "management". So he admits that he sucks at management, and that he is also basing his plans for humanity's future on this same trait.

Iam not sure its Lucys finger. It looks like its his it is scared. His finger would make more sense cause it is ghoulish and would regenerate and work fine.
0:45 I'm a huge fan of fallout 1&2… And I was exited to see them integrate shady sands into the show. But anyone that played those games knew something was up from episode 1, since the show is set in LA & California, and the NCR is nowhere to be seen. But imho it's perfectly fine. It fits very well into the fallout universe and lore. War never changes... If they had somehow integrated shady sands and the NCR, they probably would have had to mess with lore, and people would have complained anyway. This way, they can tell a great story in the fallout world, but start with a largely clean slate. So it's fine imo. They did a great job of integrating the old lore of the old games that started the whole franchise, that first set the tone, set the art style, etc, but not letting themselves be limited too much by it. They respected the lore that came before, and built on it, unlike so many franchises these days that spew out shitty reboots and prequels that crap all over the original lore. If you want to create a show in a franchise and world with well established lore and a well established fan base, this show is a great example of how to do it. 23:20 Its not the people from the vaults that are worshipping the "flame mother" or moldaver, its the surface dwellers that came to live in vault 4 after the NCR was destroyed that worship her. The vault dwellers brush it off as "surfie superstition". Important distinction.
Now I feel sorry for Maximus, he is totally gonna have to give up on that sweet-sweet caviar to go help Goosey, isn't he? Enjoy your Vault-tec robe while you can, man.
It's been great watching with you folks, the dual synchronous head bob, KILLED me! Your about to need to buckle down, the answers come hard and fast the next two, (some more questions come up too! Of course) Have a great finale!
If you remember what this riddle is I'd be interested in knowing. My friend is a Linguistics student and he loves stuff like this. Unless you meant Rocko's Basilisk.
You need to text the number as well. You will get a response. Also the poster for coops movie is a reference to Don Johnsons post apacolyptic movie a boy and his dog.
Gun looks closer, but not identical, to an older Fallout speargun. The harpoon gun was massive compared to this thing. A harpoon isn't really something to carry, so maybe they did it deliberately to stay within manageable sizes? Hoping for more cameo appearances, like Codsworth, down the line in this series. Made me giggle like a little boy. Can't believe you guys are able to spread this out. I didn't plan it, but I ended up sitting through the whole thing in a single seating.
It's so interesting to me that the Ghoul takes credit for wiping out the organ dealers when that was 100% Lucy - he was passed out in the parking lot at the time - I don't even know what it means but it's very very interesting...
Hwell, bless Big Booty Bertha and her thiccness greater than oatmeal. She was born that way, and all the girls, guys, ghouls, and non-binary pals are powerful thankful for it. I reckon even a super mutant would stop to grunt in appreciation, afore they got a busy murderin' other folk, like they do. I uh.. couldn't resist. 😆 Good catch on remembering the alimony thing the jerk joked about all the way back in the first episode. Shady Sands isn't the only thing shady about, from "Flame Mother" Moldaver that shouldn't be around, to Barb wanting herself, Cooper, and Janey in a "good" vault. Nice theory about Moldaver and the Dread Pirate Roberts type title passed on. True or not, I expect she'd be comfortable in the Fire Swamp, being the Flame Mother and all. She might not build a summer home there, but the trees are actually quite lovely.
We start bouncing to get our energy levels up before the intro and when we first edited it we noticed it looks like we fall into frame so we kept doing it! Thank you for noticing! You’re the first person to point it out.
That existential question you brought up is called Roko’s Basilisk. Fair warning to all who don’t do existential crisis well, do not look it up if you aren’t good with existentialism
Nobody should look it up because it's an incredibly stupid pile of nonsense. Why would anybody have difficulty with it? I bet you also think there's a video tape out there that kills people if they watch it, don't you?
It's funny how a lot of Americans look down on tap water and look up to bottle water. In Denmark tap water is just fine, bottle water is a bit pretentious or for eating out.
It depends on where in America you're from. Usually, if people are from the mountains like in North Carolina, the tap water is the best you can get. Some other places, though, definitely need, at the very least, a filter
We unfortunately don’t have the same European standards in America when it comes to tap water. Our tap water here in Vegas tastes so much like chlorine it’s disgusting. Most places the water is way worse unfortunately. We don’t like buying bottled water, but there’s not much of a choice.

Good call. An excellent moment.

24:57 The Pip-Boy flashlight sound effect from the game is so subtle and such a fun nod to the games.

That was so dark and accurate to corporate America
Then again, thinking that you can manage people the same way you do products is something that big corporations often do, much to their detriment.

You are correct.
You notice that the Fallout theme only plays when items heavily associated with the NCR is shown
8:44 Lucy broke that celibacy pledge with a finger stroke 😅
the best part of Vault 4 for me is Jerry being the Overseer
@@stevenbanks1548Damn, I havent thought about that show in years. Thanks for the memories!😁

I fking lost it
Still getting Spidey tingles every time, you expect it to show the FO4 intro scene of the power armor in the garage and the Nuka Girl poster 😂
I wonder if elements of the NCR have survived nearer to New Vegas. NCR outposts there were filled with some pretty hardcore folks.
With the Fallout 4 theme kicking in there!? It just shows the people who made this series love the games.
I yelled. lol
I'm thicker than soupy oatmeal.. 😂😂 lmao
The monster thing you're referring to is "Roko's Basilik" a pretty terrifying thought experiment.
