I had trouble getting connected for the first time as I kept getting errors telling me to try again. After several more try's if somehow connected! It allows me to click on any online phone number link and it initiates the call! Huge time saver. Thanks!
You cannot make or receive calls from your PC if you have a Bluetooth headset connected!?!?! So dumb. When you dial a number on phone links it just calls from your linked cell phone. When someone calls you, it answers from your cell phone. If your phone is across the room and you answer on your laptop - you better not have a Bluetooth headset connected - you still have to run across the room to get your phone to actually talk to someone. Laughable.
I used the bar code to connect my iPhone to pc, they are connected, however, I cannot find the App you mention in your video, the microsoft directions on how to enable features in app are confusing to me. Could you please explain how to get access to this App?
just accept everything and follow the instructions in the app and check that your phone bluetooth is connected to the pc but also that wont really help because this app has many compatibility problems
I just installed Windows 11 23H2 (it had Phone link; where my previous version didn't). The install was just today. other than drivers and a couple of apps (Office/VLC/Avid/AntiVirus) I installed WhatsApp. I have WhatsApp on both my iPhone 15 and my desktop. I always take calls on either device w/o issue until Phone Link. When answering on the PC, the WhatsApp call sounds like a helicopter and robot. You can transfer the call back and fourth to the phone and PC, but whenever on the PC it sounds horrible. Today before Phone Link I used what's app for a call and there was no audio issue. I reinstalled Windows, and found that it works better if before you enable Phone Link, that you do add the phone to the PC via Bluetooth. The audio did get better however, the Phone Link client seems to add an addtional hop in the call. People I spoke with noticed the lag (delay)
EDIT: Never mind, I didn’t know the Microsoft Store “Phone Link” app wasn’t up to date. (Just updated). I don’t see the iPhone option, when I launch Phone Link it says “Use your Android phone from your PC, Get Started”. I have a brand new Lenovo Yoga 9i Pro with Windows 11 pro, fully up to date both windows and Lenovo updates. I’ve rebooted like 10 times, no change. Why doesn’t the choice for iPhone appear when you launch the Your Phone / Phone Link app?
Sir, i have problems, i can make phone call but i cant connect my laptop speaker to my phone that i can use headset to make phone call alday, can uou help pleae ?
go to ur pc settings and go to audio and check the app and then click options in the app and choose speakers other option is choosing by deafult the speakers that you want but this will affect all your pc and apps audio
I'm noticing that the picture/gallery tab is missing in the iPhone side of things in the Phone Link on PC as suppose to Android where it is and I'm going to assume that, the screenshots or pictures you recently took on the iPhone won't show as a pop up on the PC?
what if your phone is on a boot loop and you can't use your phone and you have to use your computer how do you give your computer full permission without your phone
Whenever I open the Phone Link app, it says "your PC must have Bluetooth" on the iphone selection (which is greyed out) but I am using the Asus USB-BT211 Mini Bluetooth Dongle and the bluetooth icon shows up. How do I connect?
I am trying to connect phone link windows 11 to a wifi Ipad so I can use Imessage on my computer. I can not get the phone link to connect via bluetooth. I was able to setup my android phone, and I am able to connect my Ipad to my latptop via bluetooth by itself, but not with the phone link app. Any suggestons?
unfortunelly they made up the lie that this app support apple users and windows users aswell but no theres no way to connected o at least the connection doesnt last long
Apple restricts windows on being able to use all Apple features like facetime, iMessage etc. due to them wanting you to use their MacBook's to unlock everything. Remember Windows is their competitor.
Microsoft is fine, this is apple bullshit ! My android and my PC work flawlessly. Apple puts their best minds at work to make it impossible to work with anything out side of apple. God forbid one day they have apple cars. The will only pair with Iphone and drive on apple streets and park in apple garages and get charged at apple stations. Also the charge port will need to be changed out every 2 years and after 4 years the charge port would be incompatible with the Icar because the car is outdated. Then you need to buy a new Icar altogether. I fucking hate apple so fucking much! I hope this technology dies before it takes out the entire technological advancements of our entire species.

I'm connected but texts I'm receiving dont' show up. Do you have a fix for this?
"Simple, easy and seamless over a bluetooth connection" is an oxymoron. There is nothing seamless and easy about bluetooth. only pain and suffering.
I have windows 11 and I don't see the option to connect to iPhone
Running Windows 10. Can't see the iPhone option.

I'm unable to receive text messages on my PC, but can send them just fine. Anyone else having this issue?
Yes, same issue here. Not sure how to fix it.
Yes I'm having the same problem as well. I tried to contact support but did not get an answer yet.
What about photos? That's what I most want to do. I don't see an option to get photos.
Yes, this would have been awesome, but I can’t see how to do that either
Use a cable to directly plug your phone into your computer
