- At 5:26 p.m., Milton Fire & Rescue was dispatched to the report of a working structure fire at 375 School Hollow Rd in Milton. Upon arrival, crews noticed smoke coming from the roof of the two-story structure. Fire crews from Milton, Madison, and Bedford made entry into the second-floor rear door and located a fire in the bedroom closet. Crews extinguished the fire containing it to the closet area of the upstairs bedroom. The fire is still under investigation at this time but no foul play is suspected. The female occupant and her 4 children were able to escape the residence with no injuries. Milton Fire & Rescue, Bedford Fire & Rescue, Madison Fire Department, Trimble County EMS, and the Trimble County Sheriff's Department were all on the scene.

That is correct, this is from the Chief's vehicle and she is a Junior Firefighter on the department. Our department has Junior Firefighters (Explorers) that can be on the department starting at 15. If they stay in it and keep their grades up they receive a scholarship from us upon graduation.
One thing to consider, what we do with our JR and under 18 members is they have neon green lids, makes it easier to pick them out of a group.
We have twin sisters who just turned 18 and can kick butt on a fire ground. They definitely know how to handle themselves.
For us juniors up north we get blue lids with a blue shield that says Jr. Firefighter

@@charlesschwartz9325why didn't you click the red X and leave it? instead of complaining about it. It's not like he is worried about what we can see when he arrives at the scene.
Not knocking the video, but no fire extinguishers or anything to at least attempt to put the fire out.. What could be a closet fire, could be a full structure fire before the assisting units arrive
