  • At 3:46 p.m. on July 4th, Milton Fire & Rescue was dispatched to Hwy 36 and Riverdale Dr for the report of a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Crews arrived on the scene and found a 1995 GMT-400 pickup truck had been traveling East on Hwy 36 when for unknown reasons he struck a culvert causing him to overturn. The driver was out of the vehicle when crews arrived. Crews assisted EMS with the patient who was then taken to KDH for his non-life-threatening injuries by Trimble County EMS. The roadway was reduced to one lane for a couple of hours. Milton Fire, Trimble County EMS, and the Kentucky State Police were all on the scene.

    I appreciate these. I broke my foot on a call a week ago now so being stuck home listening to the pager has been tough and not being able to do what I used to freely do has been bothersome. This helps though even if its just a little I appreciate it keep it up.

      @MILTON FIRE & RESCUE due to weather I haven't been out there lately. We haven't picked up trucks since the bad weather. If I see you again I definitely will!!

    Fair play to that Mustang at the very start, pulls over in a perfect place to let you by, without any issues.

    Thank you for your POV view while its sad to see these accidents its amazing to see your POV on this. BTW Who is that with you? Is that your daughter?

    • @JASON8502
      @JASON8502  2 года назад +3

      This is not a POV, it is a department command vehicle. Its a quick response Ford Expedition. Yes, she is a Junior Firefighter which is a program through the state fire commission.

    Good idea for the firefighters who aren't involved with extrication/patient care/fire suppression to sweep hazards off the road. But should some debris be left as evidence for the troopers investigating the crash?

      It isn’t an engine, it’s a rescue truck. I think it’s one of their older rigs.
