They are sadly underrated because people do see it as a fashion watch and not high horology and real watch making which it undoubtedly is. If I had the means it's just the type of complication that I'd like to own. Thank you for the opportunity to see it.

16 views at the 6 hr mark? Not sure I understand that-you are more informative and interesting than most watch channels out there. High horology from Chanel? They are in particular the fashion house that I wouldn’t trust as far as paying more for the label than the quality of the goods.

I still have a very biased view towards manual winding. I am more focused on automatic movements, even a micro rotor on a watch such as this Chanel. It is a very good looking piece but I would likely collapse on the price.

@@themainspringer the watch does seem more reasonable at 20, the problem is that at 20 in the used market in sure brings in a lot of well known brands as competitors. For 20 you can get breguet, Chopard, Glashute original even some Lange and patek. Tough to choose Chanel over so many better perceived brands. For me, this is a terrible design. The jumping hour "7" is so big and bold, it's difficult to focus on anything else. The font doesn't work either. The second most prominent mark is the CHANEL logo.
I see your point and this is not for everyone. I find it attractive. But there are over 800 watch brands so there is something for everyone :) thanks for watching.

I thought it was an interesting watch until i found out that in white gold it retails for $47;500, other metals are priced upon request.
