    Kudos to you for trying to keep people safe when you see they’re in danger. Caring about other human beings safety and well-being whether you know them or not in this world is becoming rarer and rarer these days. I used to catch flack from friends and girlfriends for helping strangers in need or danger. They’d make comments or crack jokes like “ Who do you think you are, a super hero or something?” And I’d would respond “No, I’m just an individual who doesn’t want to see anyone hurt or in trouble. What’s wrong with that. Wouldn’t you want someone to help or protect you if you were in that situation?!” And they would have nothing to say with the dumb dumb look on their face.
    I appreciate and applaud you man for your efforts and instruction in teaching us how to protect ourselves. I salute and support

    Brilliant video lenny I like it because all of the strikes also lead into controlling the head so that you could palm heel to chin then move into leg throw etc and striking the clavicle moving straight in for a shoulder lock you could also use palm heel to solar plexus forcing the head forward to stepping forward to elbow strike under the chin good videos as always rogue warriors team 👍

    I agree with you. Life and liberty. Thank you for taking the time to put these videos together. I've learned a lot from you. I have been looking for a system if you will. So my family nor I become a victim. Their is a lot of videos on RUclips that show how to defend yourself. I feel like it would get you injured or killed if you used it. How much does it cost to come to Schaumburg to train??? Thanks again

      How long are you looking to train for? I’m also not in Schaumburg anymore. We’re located in a small town called Gilberts.

    Hey buddy, I agree with you that if someone is in your face and is acting like they are going to punch you, you should hit them first instead of waiting for them to throw the first punch. And the law should recognize that since people who get hit with the first punch often get knocked out!
    I have gotten in trouble before in high school because I threw the first punch when a guy made racial slurs against me and got in my face like he was going to knock me out with a punch, but I ended up knocking him to the ground with a punch of my own before he got the chance to punch me. I got punished more severely by the principal because I threw the first punch, but I feel I did the right thing despite what the rule tells me.

    Another nice video. I hope it won't get demonetized because of that song in the background, though. I'm mentioning this, because many channels suffered from bogus copyright strikes recently.

    So....you talked about coming up under the chin. I’m sure that you know, perhaps you forgot to mention it, but a chin jab, which is what coming up under the chin is, can be just as lethal as a throat shot. Especially if your training with a partner wearing head gear, it’s just added leverage, which will seriously increase how much power you deliver. Also, the sternum shot, if you don’t hit the sternum but hit the substernil-notch, ( I think that’s what it’s called. You know the nice little soft spot at the bottom of the sternum), you can break the xiphoid-process and that’s a potentially lethal shot as well. Of course all these things are contingent upon a lot of factors. How hard you strike, how much penetration you get into a target, as well as your opponents own physical problems you may or may not know about. All in all a very good video show casing some old school ww2 combatives type skill sets. Some of that stuff was almost like it came straight off of a SDTS module. Good stuff guys!

    On the "thinking man pose" I wouldn't keep one hand up in the armpit, because it makes it easy for someone put pressure on the outside elbow and trap both arms.

    I like the music but unfortunately it's too loud and very distracting when I'm trying to listen to you explain what you're doing. My suggestion is just turn the music down a little bit more.

    More stuff to teach my daughter when she’s mature enough to understand when to use it. Sensei, could you make a video when someone small breaks a grip and then uses one of these strikes? Nikyo or a cut-down and strike....

    • @ChfBgTlk
      @ChfBgTlk 5 лет назад

      Nikyo has a 1% chance of working in a rl situation...avoid trying to apply a nikyo.

    Lenny I like your videos but I also think what you do is too niche to gain a significant amount of views. I watch your videos because I believe getting a nasty joint lock is more effective than a punch.
    However you are the best martial artist on youtube.

    • @robertneale858
      @robertneale858 5 лет назад +1

      Hi I tend to disagree with you there unless you're going to dislocate the joint and there's more than one attacker to allow you to pull a joint lock off you can use these strikes as weakener then you can apply you're joint locks not being disrespectful just my thoughts pal

    • @ChfBgTlk
      @ChfBgTlk 5 лет назад

      Stay tuned for Lenny's next installment on how to pour concrete footers for backyard decks. He is in the niche of martial arts and fitness. Or are you trying to whittle it down further into a niche of aikido?

    Lenny has decent striking skills but the other dude's striking is beginner white belt level

    • @milosstojanovic4623
      @milosstojanovic4623 4 года назад +1

      Maybe, but i think that he was scared of hurting him with fast barage of strikes, i mean when adrenaline hits, you dont think clearly enough, he may accidentally hit him in the ear, or if he did hammer strike he may miss shoulder pad and hit him in colar bone, would hurt him bad.
