Nepalese people are very brave. Two Nepalese friends were fishing here in Portugal. Both couldnt swim. A big wave came and threw one to the sea.The other immediatly jumped to try to save his friend, he counldnt swim!. Unfortunately both died. :(
I think that you are not you being honest because you are not probably Nepali, you play Brawl Stars and Roblox, and you look like a little child who wants attention and likes. If it's a father who is commenting, I keep my words but I'm 99% sure that you are making a lie.
If you play videogames, specially Brawl Stars and Roblox, have access to RUclips and Internet and only 2000 Nepalis have climbed mount everest, most of them are dead, and you can speak English. The possibilities of you commenting on this video and telling the truth are 0.000008% or 1 in 12.5 million aprox only in Nepal, based on my calculations. Or basically IMPOSSIBLE. So stfu.
Hey man you are really onto something with this honest and accurate depiction of climbing Everest. If you kept climbing other famous peaks with this same vlog style you’ll have a million subscribers in no time.
Million subs…. And die. I will never understand why people are doing this. Statistics are bad dying out there. I really like these mountains and Dokus about these peaks. But from my comfort home. But at least people fulfill their dreams.
Your enthusiasm, dedication, and humor are deeply inspiring to me. 9 years ago, I was considering at least the base camp trek, but then my health went south. I'm 63, so killing myself during the effort is a real thing LOL. My health has dramatically improved in the past few years, so after watching your stuff, I've started getting up much earlier and 'getting after it' as you say to build some serious resilience and strength. I'm planning the BC trek with my kids for next spring which is a direct result of watching your videos. Keep on being awesome Ryan!
There is something that really sets this video above other climbing, hiking etc expedition videos. This young man does not extend the video with unnecessary daily details like breakfast, sleeping, drinking coffee, etc. He goes through one of the hardest, longest, most dangerous adventures one can accomplish and goes through it casually. Just shows what really matters in a brief and concise way. A very well edited 5 hours summary of a multi-week adventure.
I've literally watched about 12 Everest documentaries and about the same amount of creators Everest videos and yours by far was the best. Thank you for sharing for those of us living vicariously through you 🙏✌️🕊️
I honestly think this video is the best captured "experience" I've ever seen and I'm not sure it's possible to better convey how precious life really is than you've done in this video. Never has five hours gone so quickly. ❤️
Imagine being of the first humans climbing this with no pre-installed ropes, no knowledge of the right pathways, no modern equipment and no sherpas carrying your stuff. Insane what people are doing
The first Brit’s to attempt it were bad dass sportsmen. Explored and failed. When Edmond Hilary and Tensing Norgai summited for the first time also crazy brilliant fools. They did have modern equipment for the 1950s. Hey also had plenty of support including a goodly number of sherpas.
This is the best and clearest of all the documentary’s I’ve seen. I love that fact that you reached the summit in day light hrs. We could actually see. Thank You . 💕
the fact that humans can do this is absolutely amazing. the sheer strength and determination needed for this 42 day climb, as well as the training it takes to even be able to do it is just such an amazing and inspiring thing.
Best Everest doc I've ever seen. Just real content. Loved settling in for the full journey and not just snippets of the highlights. Excellent work man!
Congratulations! I have been following Everest content since I was in high school (1984) and this is the best footage I have ever seen. You literally captured the experience of what it is like to be there. And clearly demonstrated how knowledgeable, trained and fit you need to be to attempt this climb.
Thank you for taking all of us on your AMAZING JOURNEY! Like so many others have already stated, I watched every segment and am so happy that you made this compilation!! This is a wonderful video! Thank you very much!!!
That was incredible! When I saw that it was 5 hours long I didn't expect to be glued to my screen watching the whole thing through. What an excellent documentary you've made, and congratulations on the summit! Frankly, this has given me so much more visibility on Mount Everest than any "real" documentary I've seen before.
I did the everest base camp trek in 2018 for charity, which was amazing and thought I'd watch the start of the video to reminisce. Ended up watching the full 5 hours and loved it. Kudos to you Ryan. A fantastic documentary and what an experience for you, especially at such a young age. I would love to see you take on other mountains and document it.
I'm only 26 minutes in, but so far this is amazing. I watch so many videos of Everest and I have always been so curious about the what I'm seeing see far 🙂 puts into light the life the people live around there. How lucky they are to live in such beauty. Just stunningly beautiful.
Ryan, its extremely rare and difficult to find RUclipsrs such as yourself. From your past videos to this one, your nothing but genuine, real, and authentic. There's no bullshit or being extra/exaggerated enthusiasm, just the natural, raw content itself. This is the first video from your channel that I watched and I enjoyed because I love hiking myself! Keep doing what your doing, stay humble, and grounded- the rest will come your way throughout life. Congrats on hiking the tallest mountain on planet Earth and wish you success! PS: hope you do more mountain climbing, I think the next one should be Mt. Fuji for you (its a simple one but still a challenge nonetheless!)
This was the best. Ryan, you've inspired so many through sharing this incredible story/video. Started watching about 5 hours ago thinking I would skip parts - but instead enjoyed every minute. The whole 42 days really told the story of what an Everest summit expedition would be like. I now understand why people do this. Footage during the summit push was breath-taking. Thank you.
You got great sherpa. He is going fast down because he knows how deadly the conditions can turn almost immediately when it starts to wind up there. And plenty to go down.
This is not a vlog it’s a documentary. I am not a mountaineer, not even want to become one, but I got myself stuck to this video from the beginning to the end. Even got tired like I was there. Lol Amazing job. Congratulations!!
I have been fascinated with Mount Everest since I was a kid, but I have no desire to climb it. I have seen dozens of documentaries on it, and when I saw the length of this one, I thought "no way will that hold my attention, but at least it will be background noise while I work." Boy, was I wrong! I watched the whole thing and saw so much more than what I have ever seen in any documentary. Thank you for giving me this experience. I wish you well in your future endeavors, and I will cheer you on.
I’m a 31 year old father of 2 babies and I pray my children end up as articulate and interesting as you buddy! Man your parents and family must be amazing. Cause you’re no mistake!
I don’t know how to describe it other than amazing work man! Thank you for sharing your experience. I’m 3hours in and you’re explaining how you’re explaining that you “hope you stop making those noises” lol it’s not annoying just made it feel more genuine and not like some documentary.
I have never watched a RUclips video that exceeded 2 hours but I sat through this enthralled, loved your humor and charm too. Really well done and bravo on the climb
I just want to thank you for this video, it's the next best thing to actually being there. I have seen countless videos related to Everest, and yours is by far the best! If you ever decide to climb another mountain such as K2 please don't hesitate to making another video like this one.
I put this on as background noise while I did some cleaning. I’m happy to say it took me a LOT longer to do my chores than it normally does because I was so enthralled with this vlog. Congratulations on your summit, Ryan!
This is without doubt, the best Everest doco - thank you Ryan for sharing this ... I watched from start to finish in one sitting - it was the next best thing to being there.
this is the best video ive seen thus far !! the distance is very decieving in deed !! every where you look it looks like camoflauge on the ground , soooo mind boggeling !!
exactly what I'd thought a 19 yo pov of climbing everest would be - Extremely light hearted, weather gods blessed your team and seemingly made it look easier than it looks. Congrats 👏 👏
Congrats and great job on the doc. No over dramatization on the narrative. You clearly prepared properly and impressed that you continued to film at the higher altitudes! Great job all around!!!
I'll never climb Mt. Everest in person as a 50 year old widow but thank you so much for taking me along in your vlog!!! Thank goodness you made it there and back again!!!
Wow!! This is the best climbing expedition video I have ever seen. It really takes you in to the environment you are in. Alot of details and things that others do not show. I have watched tons of Everest videos and documentaries but no one immerses you into the experience as your video does. Also, you have a great personality which inspires alot so keep the videos coming. Thanks for excellent content!!
This is the best thing I have ever watched on RUclips! Absolutely incredible video, so inspiring to make people want to try something new and push them to their limits!
i watched this in it's entirety and i must say i think it's the best Everest summit video i've seen here, most only show the highlights, you showed it all, well done on your successful summit.
I'm really enjoying this. It took away my romantic notion about Mount Everest. This is brutal hard work! I would like to reiterate, I also like the fact that there's no annoying background music. Well done!
Hi Ryan, I just can't believe you were 19 doing this climb. Not because it is very hard, but the way you talk and comment. There are a lot of 50 years old not so clever, intelligent, wise and friendly as you are. Thank you for sharing this and I am pretty confident, that you will have a very good, successful and even more extraordinary life ahead of you. I enjoyed every second of it. Greetings from Germany! 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀
Congratulatons Ryan. I watched this for the past 5 hours, even though I had watched all your single day videos.Looking forward to your next journey. Keep up the good work.
Really amazing documentation of your journey. I agree with many of the comments, your footage is the best ive ever seen, showing every aspect of what it takes to get to the summit.

I am sorry for the text wall. I didn't intend for it to be one. Being disabled as I am, this is something I would never be able to experience or see. Thank you for this video. I love to see places I can never go to. Great job documenting your climb and congratulations for shutting down your PC and getting in shape like you did. I am so happy for you that you are able to make all the summits you have before this. Also for standing on, "The top of the world." The reason I am now in the shape I'm in put me in the hospital for many months. When I got home my dog jumped up on the couch I was laying on and pressed herself tight against me. She, "Rags"was so happy she was shaking and whimpering and so was i as I hugged and kissed her. I hope the reunion with your dog was something like that. Dogs are so amazing and so are you. P.S. I'm not fishing for sympathetic comments this is just how life has gone for me.
I was in hospital once and I had to get up by myself at night shortly after having a hip operation and being flat on my bed for 21 days previously. Just pulling myself up and getting into the wheelchair felt like climbing Mount Everest, even 20 years later, I still remember the feeling of achievement. So, I can appreciate the achievements that disabled people make every day in their daily life. Thoughts to all who have a daily struggle with their personal Everest.
ABSOLUTELY EPIC, if you do nothing again in your whole life you will always have this, this is up there with going to the moon ! Didn’t think I was going to get through nearly 5 hours but damn glad I did, sincere congratulations young man, a hell of an achievement !!

WOW. No words. Makes me wonder how the heck people climbed this before all the tech and rescue helicopters and oxygen. Mad respect for everyone who does this trek and next level my friend for sharing it with us. Peak of human achievement. Many blessings 💙🙏
I've seen many documentaries about Mountain Climbing, especially Mount Everest ones, and I must say that your video was more informative than the others. I felt like I was there with you, I now know what it takes to prepare & experience Mount Everest thanks to your video. Congratulations on your succesful climb & wishing you the best on your future expeditions.

Absolutely speechless. I don't know anything about mountaineering, but I could tell the increase in your skill level from the beginning of the video to the end. Just an amazing watch. Great job and God bless
This video is unique because it captures the journey from the very beginning, unlike other Everest videos that start from Camp 1. You made it seem effortless, but I bet it was quite challenging. Congratulations 🏆
For over a decade I climbed with the best climbers in the world. While this video does not represent what true mountaineering is really like, It does show a side of climbing that is almost never showed. The everyday tasks a human being has to achieve just to get to the base of a route. A real person dealing with real situations. Great presentation. Muchas Gracias Ryan. Vaya con Dios.

Nepalese people are very brave. Two Nepalese friends were fishing here in Portugal. Both couldnt swim. A big wave came and threw one to the sea.The other immediatly jumped to try to save his friend, he counldnt swim!. Unfortunately both died. :(

Jesus loves yall, died for us, and rose again!❤ Jesus calls for all of us to repent and turn to him. He's coming back but we don't know when fr.

I just finished watching this almost 5-hour video over four nights. Feels like I climbed Mount Everest-all from the comfort of my bed! 🤣♥️♥️
Same congrats to us. We made it in our bed yeheyyyyy.. 😂😂😂😂😂
Yoo that’s awesome!! It’s never too late. Good luck with your trek.
That’s absolutely amazing how you’ve been inspired! I wish you & your kids the very best of luck in your trek 💪
The resilience!! Hope you and your family stay safe and enjoy ❤

Meru that was my fav movie of all times
Well I mean he is a big m1necraft RUclipsr so he has a tonne of experience editing and storytelling etc

Am not going to lie, i watched this video over and over again. Very well made and fun. You feel the experience like you are already there
I've literally watched about 12 Everest documentaries and about the same amount of creators Everest videos and yours by far was the best.
Just for the in shape tourists to take a selfie for IG and leave the trash everywhere.
Now imagine people going to space and celestial bodies. Insane
The first humans attempting to climb this were the sherpas, the locals of the land.
Sherpa Tenzing Norgay was together with Edmund Hillary on the first first climb. Sherpas were always the true heroes here.
Same, but 1999 for me. Loving this
Best documentary I have ever watched without skipping a min😮 nothing boring about it no additional music just a real video ❤ #legend
Great video and great work - amazing video on summit day! Great message at the end.
Thank you a ton!
I have seen dozens of documentaries on it, and when I saw the length of this one, I thought "no way will that hold my attention, but at least it will be background noise while I work."
Boy, was I wrong! I watched the whole thing and saw so much more than what I have ever seen in any documentary.
Thank you for giving me this experience.
I wish you well in your future endeavors, and I will cheer you on.
yes I agree with you 💯❤️
I’m a 31 year old father of 2 babies and I pray my children end up as articulate and interesting as you buddy!
This is amazing bro. Most vloggers would only film 20 min and upload it but we have the whole deal here. This is great content!
I have never watched a RUclips video that exceeded 2 hours but I sat through this enthralled, loved your humor and charm too. Really well done and bravo on the climb
I watched the whole 5 hours while studying, now I'm really invested in the mount Everest. You made me wanna see it for myself!
The best documentary İ have ever seen for Everst. Showing actual track rather than showing short videos from base camps. Loved It!
I've watched and read so much about climbing Mt Everest, but I never knew this was how it's done. Thank you for this video!!
This is the best documentary of Everest, loved every moment of watching this. I really like how you show alot of detail and footage of your journey.
That was the best filming, and climbing up and down the mountain. I have seen. You really showed what it like to climb mountains. Thank you!!
This is without doubt, the best Everest doco - thank you Ryan for sharing this ... I watched from start to finish in one sitting - it was the next best thing to being there.
Don't think I've ever watched a RUclips video as long as this! Captivating from start to finish, amazing work! Thanks for sharing and congrats! 👏👏
this is the best video ive seen thus far !! the distance is very decieving in deed !! every where you look it looks like camoflauge on the ground , soooo mind boggeling !!
exactly what I'd thought a 19 yo pov of climbing everest would be - Extremely light hearted, weather gods blessed your team and seemingly made it look easier than it looks. Congrats 👏 👏
Congrats and great job on the doc. No over dramatization on the narrative. You clearly prepared properly and impressed that you continued to film at the higher altitudes! Great job all around!!!
And oh fuck ya on the helicopter out. Love it
I'll never climb Mt.
The video about complete Everest climbing experience that i have been wanted to see since last 20 years. Cant thank you enough for all your efforts.
i watched this in it's entirety and i must say i think it's the best Everest summit video i've seen here, most only show the highlights, you showed it all, well done on your successful summit.
The way and its filmed, with the calm voice, made it look so easy.
I'm really enjoying this. It took away my romantic notion about Mount Everest. This is brutal hard work! I would like to reiterate, I also like the fact that there's no annoying background music. Well done!
Hi Ryan,
I just can't believe you were 19 doing this climb.

What an inspiration to young people and older people too. Just watched your full video…wow. Well done young man. Keep inspiring and encouraging young people. We need more of that.

I am fully able and even I can't climb Mount Everest 😭
I was in hospital once and I had to get up by myself at night shortly after having a hip operation and being flat on my bed for 21 days previously. Just pulling myself up and getting into the wheelchair felt like climbing Mount Everest, even 20 years later, I still remember the feeling of achievement. So, I can appreciate the achievements that disabled people make every day in their daily life. Thoughts to all who have a daily struggle with their personal Everest.
Aw man I hope you’re doing well these days!
Kudos on making such an immersive video. Thank you for taking us on this journey.
This was incredible. I loved every minute of it. You just showed your true experience and feelings without trying to “make content” or dramatize it
ABSOLUTELY EPIC, if you do nothing again in your whole life you will always have this, this is up there with going to the moon ! Didn’t think I was going to get through nearly 5 hours but damn glad I did, sincere congratulations young man, a hell of an achievement !!

Wow what a great video!! This is exactly what I’ve always been wanting to see from a Mt Everest expedition, from the very start to finish! You did a great job with this! Congrats on you accomplishment!
This is a wild video bro. Thanks for inspiring and taking us along!
WOW. No words. Makes me wonder how the heck people climbed this before all the tech and rescue helicopters and oxygen. Mad respect for everyone who does this trek and next level my friend for sharing it with us. Peak of human achievement. Many blessings 💙🙏
