Watkins, Duran, Onana, Rogers, Ramsey, Tielemens, McGinn and Bailey are all a serious attacking threat.
We do struggle to keep a clean sheet so it’s just as well we’re currently blessed with so many attacking options.

We're running incredibly hot on goalscoring. It's going to be interesting what happens when that calms and we're more reliant on our defence because they really aren't doing great at keeping clean sheets.

McGinn was covering Bailey and for me it wasn't working. We were way too narrow. That said with Bailey now back McGinn would probably have moved into Ramsey's spot.
I think we'll really miss him in the Bayern game. As much as I like Ramsey he's not at McGinn levels yet.
Absolutely agree with this .. with Ezri at right back, we really lack forward momentum down the right without Bailey. Great villa has so many options now ❤️❤️
Great problems to have at LB, and I think Digne's improvement over the past 9 months or so has been massive, but for me Maatsen should be starting now. There are still way too many times when Digne is on his heels in the final third, and the directness and pace of Maatsen gave Wolves a big problem once he was on. Not seen enough of his delivery to know how it compares to Digne, but that position looks well covered.

I’m definitely worried whenever Carlos is on the ball. I shouted “no mistakes” at the TV just before he made that weak cross field pass. Really lazy pass. I’m not convinced he should be at Villa but I know Emery will make the right decision as the season progresses.
