God has blessed you so much. i might have 6 days to a month left on gods great earth. i have stage 4 lung Cancer which has spread through most of my body. i am 45 years old and i do live in a gorgeous place on earth Gordons bay South Africa. i just wanted to come say i hope gods blessings keep on overflowing for you and your wife and Children . Hi there im so sorry to hear your story. What a kind person you are. I hope zachary responded.
Dredging your meat in all purpose flour before the egg wash will cause the batter to adhere to the pieces. Direct egg wash mixes with the moisture in the meat and causes the batter to slide off of the meat. If you use all purpose flour, it won't bulk up the breading. It only puts a thin layer on the meat.
So you go flour, egg wash, then back in the flour??? Cause I do suffer from crust slippages….😂😂😂

@@papabearoutdoors2393 it worked really well for me. Used it for air fried chicken fried steak. Crust stayed on even with the gravy. The family even noticed the difference. Thx

If you take the skin off immediately on gutting them, you can somewhat avoid that "creaturey" smell/flavor you spoke of briefly. Hope this helps someone!

This is one of those episodes that makes me jealous more than others. I've wanted to try iguana for a decade at least. Pretty much since bizzar foods was around and he went and tried iguana. Shows like yours have made me want to try and try many different animals and so far very few I have liked.
I remember that! I gotta get back down there this summer and hunt some!

That was a pretty good episode. I enjoyed it because it wasn’t full of commercials. I didn’t realize that iguanas had 48 eggs three times a year. That’s just crazy. Definitely should be on the menu down to Florida. especially if they prepared it like you did.👍😋

I have been waiting for this iguana video ever since you started this adventure and I could not wait until you did this one to show us and I'm happy you did finally. This looks so good and I bet it's so tasty I was really shocked and surprised that you didn't smoke the iguana as well but I bet deep-fried like you did it was wonderful and that sauce I bet was great I'm glad to see that you ate it without the sauce as well just to see how it tasted and I think you should do a smoke iguana next time just to see and thank you so much for showing us this I can't wait to try iguanas someday now. I'm a Ft Lauderdale resident and I started watching your channel when I was getting into sling shots for hunting iguanas around my property. They are really tough critters with thick skulls, so I'm impressed you were able to take them out with a sling shot. I've managed to peg a few in the head; they barely notice. I might need a new band set I guess.
If you ever visit again, let your fans know! It would've been cool to go sling shot shooting with you.

Really love your videos, man. I am so curious about what iguana tastes like. I have watched Deermeatfordinner hunt and cook iguana so many times and I've been curious what it tastes like ever since. I live in Scandinavia so there's no real iguana available for taste testing. Guess I will just keep on the good old classy fried bird or pork meat.
