No such thing as Catholic Christian. One must be born again or will go to Hell because you either love your sin or love Jesus Christ. God loves you and wants a relationship with you. He doesnt love your sin but God did something amazing. For God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten Son that whosoever would believe in him would never perish but have everlasting life. Jesus Christ is the Son of God who came as God in the flesh. He lived a perfect sinless life. He taught people who to live and treat others. He was hated and was crucified and died on a cross for your sins, was buried and was resurrected on the 3rd day. We cant die for our own sins because we are not good people and needed a perfect sacrifice,in our place. Gods standard is perfection. Jesus taught to love your neighbor as yourself and to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength. Us as humans are selfesh and rather love ourselves and the things that benefit us. Jesus said if your eye causes you to sin pluck it out. He also taught that hating someone in your heart is murdering them in Gods eyes and that lusting after someone is commiting adultery. Jesus loves you very much and can give you peace, love and joy. He can deliver you from addictions, suicidal thoughts and depression just like he did me. Repentance must be made though which is changing our mind and turning away from sin and changing the way we are going. We must be remorseful for sinning against a just and holy God who loves us and gave his life for us and was beaten, spit on and mocked so we can forgiven of our sins. Cry out to Jesus to forgive you of your sins confess Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead and you will be saved from Hell and be given Holy Spirit to dwell inside you and help you life a holy life.

No. The church is from apostolic succession. Not name games. The Catholic Church can be traced to the apostles. Which just means universal in English. Evangelical just means preaching the gospel. He’s referring to Protestant Evangelicals. Please read the early Christian writings starting with the bishops that knew the apostles. Sola Scriptura is false. And it was unanimous the Eucharist is the real presence of Jesus and Apostolic succession is the divine succession of the deposit of faith against heresies

@CPATuttle the point I wanted to make is that the catholic churches by the time of Martin Luther had got so corrupted and had brought non-Biblical theories as the examples stated earlier. Assuming the Catholic churches had Apostlic succession is true, we know that over the time, ideas came into Catholism which the Apostles have not taught about in Bible. Hence, Protestant movement was to lead to people to follow what is written in the Bible thereby taking Christianity back to the time of Apostles.

@@prashantmutyala3659 yeah you are re-iterating what Martin Luther said. Yes some points he was correct on. There’s always problems within a church and anywhere. And he’s the one who came up with ‘Sola Scriptura’, he moved the 7 OT books to another section like the current Protestant bible, but he did the same for 4 NT books too, which ended up being included in the NT for the Protestant bible. Martin Luther still had views such as Apostolic Succession, Marian Dogmas, Eucharist all which 95% of Protestants do not hold today. And the Lutheran church is crumbling today. However Martin Luther showed his true colors when he wrote the treatise ‘Jews and their lies’ before he died. He is not someone to follow.

He's right of course. What amazes me is that - all that he said - is not only historically accurate, yet so glaringly OBVIOUS you don't need to be a historian nor Phd to figure out. You don't become a "pastor" or "apostle" just because you declare yourself so, not an assembly of laity vote for you. It's not a democracy, and nothing in the Bible says that. The Bible shows "good men" were chosen, selected, and then the Apostles "laid hands on them". That's what Catholic bishops do to ordain priests, tracing it all the way back to the Apostles. Duh!!
And yet, 1 billion protestants either don't see this, or do but just outright reject it. Which means - it is a willful, deliberate, conscious rejection, and not an innocent ignorant one. (The only innocent ignorance will be children).

so true. The rites of consagration of Priests comes from the Old Testament: Numbers 8:10, God’s people lay their hands on the priests to officially commission them as their representatives before God, and in Numbers 27:18, God instructs Moses to lay his hands on Joshua to commission him formally as the new leader of the nation.
The Tradition of the Holy Catholic Church is based in actual and factual biblical doctrine. The only difference, is that the Levitical Priesthood, which was based in bloodlline, was made anew by our Lord Jesuchrist, He, being the High Priest of the Order of Mechizedeck (King and Priest) started a new line in priesthood, one obtained by being called to service by God himseld, then selected and ordained by their respective [gr. episkopos].
All it is, as it has always been, and it will always be.
The calling is personal, but the ordination is not. it requieres authority given clearly by God. Protestants do not have that.

@@user-cw3ox2nn5t well, that´s not quite correct, 1 Pe.2:9 doesn´t give "priesthood status" to all christians. He is using prerogatives of Old Israel and applies them to christians. For example: "chosen linage" , comes from Is.43:20-21, which indicates divine elections (Ef.1: 4-6). "Real priesthood" comes from Ex.19:6, and Peter uses it to order people to serve(dulia) and worship(latria) God in Christ, y thus to continue with Jesus´priestly functions in His life, passion and resurrection. "Holy nation" comes from Ex.19:6 reserved for God, people He wants for Himself.(c.f Mal.3:17) by virtue of their baptism, their death and resurrection.
Using those terms, Saint Peter tells Christians that they shouldn´t be people who lack mercy, but, that they have become People of God , the recipients of God´s mercy. It does not mean they are "priests" and that they have "preastly authority".
Can you give any proof of Protestant denomination "ordination practices" in Apostolic era?

    • @biankapaloma
      @biankapaloma 10 месяцев назад

@@user-cw3ox2nn5t agree. We can all have different interpretations to the same texts, that's why I chose to keep my interpretation of 1 Pe.2: 9, because its clear for me, that even if St Peter uses those terms, is using it as an example, more than actually giving some higher authority to laity. And there's no proof of the latter in other texts. People had obligations, but no authority. Not even to bless or anoint a sick person: James 5:14 NIV: " Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the *elders of the church* to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord."
Only Elders, bishops and priests had to go through some personal instruction and aceptance in order to be regarded and ordained as such. The Church has never been a democracy.

To understand infant baptism is to understand ORIGINAL SIN (Psalm 51:5). If baptism now saves us (1 Peter 3:21-22), from what does it saves us!?!? FROM SIN! Any sin? Yes!! From ORIGINAL SIN to actual sin!! So what is the problem if we don’t baptize infants!?! They will be in SIN!! To be “born again” is to be baptized and if you are not baptized then you can not enter the Kingdom of Heaven!! Do you want to risk your child’s salvation!?!? Go ahead don’t get them baptized!! As Jesus commands in Mt. 28:19, make disciples! How? Baptizing them!! AND THEN TEACH THEM!! And as Peter stated clearly in Acts 2 to the ADULTS who are present, “the promise is for you AND YOUR CHILDREN” When? Until they are older? Where does Peter state that!?? It is pure Protestant assumption to think they have to be old enough!! That is diabolical thinking!! Yes, denying baptism to an infant is satanic!!

I'm confused about this. Does the Catholic Church believe you are guilty of Adam's sin, not just that you inherited a sinful nature? In Eastern Orthodoxy, we don't believe in ancestral sin, and it seems like an evil concept for a baby to die and go to hell or purgatory because it wasn't baptized. God is a righteous God; how can someone be guilty of something they didn't do?

@@korosu_odano, catholics believe that babies are innocent, however as you enter this world during creation satan taints the soul, the heart, and original gifts of the holy spirit. Baptism provides you with those gifts and cleanses you of that tainted sinful nature that was caused to occur for each human after adam and eve allowed such a bad thing upon each of us. It also lets God enter the spirit via proper consent (to allow one to become properly born again/attain sainthood), but one must accept the gifts of his or her baptism to do this.

I get my authority to speak from---
      - when someone comes to Jesus, he is called by God (John 6:44). I was called by God.( What's the difference between me and Mormon? I believe in the Jesus from the Bible they believe the Jesus from the book of mormon).
-Bible says when we believe in the Gospel (Gospel is found in 1 cor 15:1-4) we are Sealed by Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13). So I believe in the Gospel which means I am sealed with the Holy Spirit.
-Lord Jesus said if you ask for Holy Spirit, God will give you. (Luke 11:13). I asked for Holy Spirit.
      - I am fellow heir of the Body of Christ and partaker of His promise in JESUS Christ through Gospel. (Ephesians 3:6).
-Bible says when someone believes that Lord Jesus Christ is the Christ, that person is Born of God.(1 John 5:1). I believe that Lord Jesus Christ is Christ. What the difference between me and muslim? Muslims don't believe Jesus died for my sins, I do believe. They don't believe Lord Jesus is the begotten Son of God, I Do. They don't believe Jesus is God, I do. And believing that Jesus is God makes me different from mormons and witnesses.
      - Bible says we are sons of God through Faith in Lord Jesus Christ (Galatians 3:26). I have Faith in Lord Jesus Christ which includes me in Gal 3:26. What is the difference between me and mormons. I think you know at this point. But still I'll explain it's the deity of Lord Jesus Christ.
-Anyone Who believes Lord Jesus will return and we shall be like Him and we shall see Him as He is and everyone who put his hope in this purifies himself. I put my hope in this which means I am purified. (1 John 3:2-3).
      - I am God's royal priest (1 peter 2:9, 2:5, Revelation 1:6).
      - Bible says whosoever confesses Jesus is Son of God, God abides in him and he in God (1 John 4:15). I confess that Jesus is Son of God.
      - Bible says anyone confess that Jesus is Lord and believes in His heart that God raises Him from death will be saved(Romans 10:9-10). And Lord Jesus said anyone who confesses me before men I'll confess him before God the Father who is in Heaven(Matthew 10:32). I have confessed Lord Jesus before men.
      - there was a man in the times of Lord Jesus who was casting demons out, healing people. The apostles forbade him, But Lord Jesus said not to because no one who does miracles in His name will soon after speak evil of Lord Jesus(Mark 9:38-40). I believe in Jesus and after that I don't speak evil of Him.
      - now why do I object? Because Lord Jesus said "if you see your brother go correct him" and that's what I'm to do (Matthew 18:15).

Before his Ascension, the risen Christ commissioned the apostles to preach, teach, and baptize all nations. This is often called the “Final Commission” or “Great Commission.” The contexts in the Gospels are varied. The commissioning of the eleven in Mark 16:14-16 occurs in the part of the Gospel (16:9-20) considered by most to be a later addition appended to give the Gospel a neater conclusion than the abrupt original ending of 16:8. The impression is given that the commission occurs in Jerusalem on the evening of the day of the Resurrection and the apostles have not yet left for Galilee in compliance with the instruction of 16:7. Christ appeared to the eleven as they were at table (Mark 16:14), chastising them for not believing reports of his Resurrection, and commissioned them to preach the Gospel to the whole world (16:15). Those who believe and are baptized will be saved (16:16), and signs will accompany believers (16:17-18).

Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of His death, we shall be also in the likeness of His resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over Him. For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Rom 6:3-11)
Paul teaches: For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. (1Cor 12:12-13)
Now when the crowd that had gathered on Pentecost heard Peter’s testimony, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?” Then Peter said unto them, “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” (Acts 2:37-38)

That’s interesting because James was the apostle presiding not Peter. Peter was married. Paul rebuked Peter.
I am a Bible believer. I don’t follow Luther or Calvin or the pope. The Holy Spirit is my guide through the written word of God. Baptism is and always was an outward objective demonstration of an
inner reality, ie a regenerate heart that believes the gospel. Sprinkling an infant that doesn’t even have the capacity to understand sin is not scriptural. Sam can hurls as many insults and childish name calling if he feels the Spirit is leading him to do so. Doesn’t change scripture.

Interesting how people can be misled by supposed eloquence...Simple reading of scripture dictates...Baptism is for BELIEVERS FIRST & ONLY... then they can be Baptized Scripturally...Both Luther & Calvin were wrong on that point...Not saying they weren't saved...As both were and are known as Great Historical Christians... Also....VIRTUALLY ALL...IF NOT ALL... Catholic & Protestant Theologians agree that... THE REPENTANT THIEF ON THE CROSS WAS SAVED... After that... they start debating and arguing...and many times claiming each other as Heretics... To conclude... What was the only doctrine the REPENTANT THIEF knew...? SALVATION... Was he BAPTIZED? NO...And what good work was be able to perform at that point in life? NONE... " Think about it."... " Knowitalls."
May GOD guide and bless you all... ❤

Nether The Church of Christ is the only church I know of that teaches biblically truth on baptism.
Study Romans Paul is telling the Jews why there Law no longer matters, and tells the Gentiles they have no room to brag about there acceptance. Romans 1 talks about how the world failed to worship God. Romans 2 -5 tells the jews how they failed and how there law is week and following it will not get them in to heaven. Romans 6 explains how we get in Christ and why it matters.
What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it? Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life. For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his. We know that our old self was crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin. For one who has died has been set free from sin. Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. We know that Christ, being raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has dominion over him. For the death he died he died to sin, once for all, but the life he lives he lives to God. So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, to make you obey its passions. Do not present your members to sin as instruments for unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and your members to God as instruments for righteousness. For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace.
    (Rom 6:1-14 ESV)
Romans 7:1-6 compares the law of marriage with baptism
Or do you not know, brothers-for I am speaking to those who know the law-that the law is binding on a person only as long as he lives? For a married woman is bound by law to her husband while he lives, but if her husband dies she is released from the law of marriage. Accordingly, she will be called an adulteress if she lives with another man while her husband is alive. But if her husband dies, she is free from that law, and if she marries another man she is not an adulteress. Likewise, my brothers, you also have died to the law through the body of Christ, so that you may belong to another, to him who has been raised from the dead, in order that we may bear fruit for God. For while we were living in the flesh, our sinful passions, aroused by the law, were at work in our members to bear fruit for death. But now we are released from the law, having died to that which held us captive, so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit and not in the old way of the written code.
    (Rom 7:1-6 ESV)
In Acts 2 after being baptized in the Holy spirit preaches the first sermon. 37 the People are touched and aske what shall we do . 38 Paul tells them to repent be baptized and they will receive the Holy spirit. 41 tells us those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls. What were they added to? Christ body his church those that had faith in what was said obeyed by being baptized and were added to his body.
Baptism of the Holy spirit is only documented twice once in Acts 2
When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.
    (Act 2:1-4 ESV)
the second time is in Acts 10 and repeated in 11. God gave Peter a vision and then sent him to preach to Cornelius. in chapter 11 Peter explains what happens to the church
As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell on them just as on us at the beginning. And I remembered the word of the Lord, how he said, ‘John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’
    (Act 11:15-16 ESV)
in verse 15 Peter has to go back all the way to the beginning (The Pentecost) so this is not a normal thing the Baptism of the Holy spirit is something God does when he wants everyone know what is being said comes from him. at the Pentecost God wanted everyone to know what was going to be said came from him, with Cornelius God wanted Peter and the Jews that came with him that God had excepted the Gentiles also.
The gifts like speaking in tongs were passed on by laying on hands, we see this in Acts
who came down and prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit, for he had not yet fallen on any of them, but they had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then they laid their hands on them and they received the Holy Spirit. Now when Simon saw that the Spirit was given through the laying on of the apostles' hands, he offered them money, saying, “Give me this power also, so that anyone on whom I lay my hands may receive the Holy Spirit.” But Peter said to him, “May your silver perish with you, because you thought you could obtain the gift of God with money! You have neither part nor lot in this matter, for your heart is not right before God.
    (Act 8:15-21 ESV)
Do not neglect the gift you have, which was given you by prophecy when the council of elders laid their hands on you.
    (1Ti 4:14 ESV)
For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands,
    (2Ti 1:6 ESV)
in 1 Corinthians we see that when the complete message is passed down to us these gifts will go away because there only reason is to show what is being taught came from God
Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away.
    (1Co 13:7-10 ESV)
Now we do receive the Holy Spirit and here is what it does for us
making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth. In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will, so that we who were the first to hope in Christ might be to the praise of his glory. In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory.
    (Eph 1:9-14 ESV)
And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
    (Eph 4:30 ESV)
But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
    (Gal 5:16-22 ESV)

The first century Church was there before the Catholic Church. The truth is from the first century. Infants need not to be water baptized as they have no sin. Water baptism comes after hearing the Gospel, believing in Christ as the Son of God. repenting and confessing your sins and then submerging in the water and as you come up being forgiven of your sins. A child has no sin nor can he accept the gospel. On the contrary Christ himself said that children reflect the kingdom of God who is in heaven and we must be like them in character. We must be consistent when interpreting scripture.

The main purpose of the Bible is for us to learn God's house rules which is His Commandments and there are only ten of them. He will not let anyone in His house unless you are properly taught/trained/disciplined on His rules here on earth. Messiah came to do just that but Christianity do not even listen to him and have turned him (YHVH's appointed High Priest, Mediator and leader/King of His house) into their God instead. How can you be allowed to enter God/YHVH's house when you do not even know who the owner of the house? People have been deceived to believe that YHVH's servant is the owner of the house. The first Commandment tells you who the owner is.
Back to baptism, how can these people know what baptism is all about when they have shut their eyes, ears and mind to YHVH's Word? They can read the Bible but will never come to understand. It's why Messiah speaks in parables all the time to prevent such unbelievers to come to the knowledge of truth which is only reserved for the believing.
    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭13:10‭-‬11‬
[10] Then the disciples came to him and said, Why do You speak to them in parables?
[11] And he replied to them, To you (who believe in YHVH's Law and Testimony in the Prophets) it has been given to know the secrets and mysteries of the kingdom proclaimed in heaven, but to them (the unbelieving ones who has rejected YHVH's Law and Testimony) it has not been given.
Time is very very short but "a living dog is better than a dead lion" because there is still chance for people to have a change of heart/mind. To repent is to keep YHVH's Commandments in your heart.

@@user-cw3ox2nn5t you misunderstand what you are reading. That summary is The Ten Commandments. It doesnt mean theres only two now. The first five is to love God/YHVH and the second half or last five is directed to loving others. Love is defined by practicing YHVH's Commandments. Sin is defined by breaking these Commandments. Nothing in our Bible says that a person has to keep these Commandments perfectly as in to not break them ever because everyone has already broken these Commandments (Romans 3:23) and the penalty is 2nd death if you remain in your sin. It is why we are called to repentance meaning to return to keeping these Commandments in our heart as Messiah did and have your sin forgiven. If you believe in the Messiah then you should follow his example of obedience. YHVH does not require perfection from us, which is impossible, but what He desire from us is loving obedience, to SHEMA or to listen and obey, even if you fail over and over but try to keep them anyway. It shows where your heart truly belongs.
      ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭5:7-‬10‬ ‭
[7] In the days of his flesh (when he was still a man), Messiah offered up prayers and supplications, with loud cries and tears, to Him (YHVH, the only true God, John 17:3) who was able to save him from death (Messiah could not save himself because he isnt God or YHVH in the flesh and he knew salvation is through keeping YHVH's Commandments), and he was heard because of his REVERENCE (not because he was a sinless God).
[8] Although he was (considered) a son (when he was baptized), he learned OBEDIENCE (to the Law) through what he suffered (in life, he was disciplined. YHVH disciples those He considers His children).
[9] And being made perfect (in the eyes of YHVH, and not of our own works. Messiah was not sinless, it means his sin was forgiven as promised when he walked The Way of Righteousness which is keeping the Law in your heart), he became the source of eternal salvation to all who follow him (to those who follow his example of walking The Way),
[10] being designated by YHVH a High Priest (not as people's God) after the order of Melchizedek.
Believing in the doctrine of the Trinity or Incarnation or Pre-existence or the abolishment of the Law is a sign of a disobedient heart. Messiah is not our God or another God besides YHVH. That is a clear violation of the first 5 Commandments. It means YHVH's Commandments is not written in your heart.
The Sign of the Covenant is the Commandments be written in your heart. This is what we are to display back to our creator.
      ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭31:31‭-‬33‬
[31] Behold, the days are coming, says YHVH, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah (under His Chosen Messiah's Name and him being their leader NOT their God),
[32] Not according to the covenant (The Mosaic Covenant) which I made with their fathers (His Law written on two tablets of stone) in the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, although I was their Husband, says YHVH.
[33] But this is the (ever lasting) covenant which I will make with the house of Israel: After those days (when His Messiah inaugurate it with his blood), says YHVH, I WILL PUT MY LAW (The Ten Commandments) WITHIN THEM, AND ON THEIR HEARTS WILL I WRITE IT; and I will be their God, and they will be My people.
We are to take The Ten Commandments which was written in stones before and even written in scrolls after or books today, we are to take them and place them in our heart. The problem is that people just read them and let it sit there in the pages of their Bible which is useless. That's exactly what ancient Israel did, let these Commandments remain in stone or in the parchment of their scrolls but never in their heart.
      ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭10:12‭-‬13‬ ‭
[12] “And now, Israel, what does YHVH your God require of you, but to fear (reverence) YHVH your God, to walk in all His ways and love Him, and to serve YHVH your God with all your heart and with all your soul, [13] and to keep YHVH’s Commandments and His statutes which I am commanding you today (yes, even today!) for your own good?
[16] So circumcise your heart (place these Commandments in your heart and do not let them remain in the pages of your Bible which is useless to you), and do not stiffen your neck any longer.
      ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭30:6‬
[6] And YHVH your God will circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your descendants (if you learn to listen and obey, the disobedient heart remains uncircumcised), to love (first 5 of the Commandments) YHVH your God with all your (mind and) heart and with all your being, THAT YOU MAY LIVE (salvation).
      ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭4:4‬ ‭
[4] Circumcise yourselves to YHVH, circumcise your hearts (place His Commandments in your hearts!), you people of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem (and yes us today too), or my wrath (judgement) will flare up and burn like fire because of the evil you have done (for breaking His Commandments, an unloving heart towards your Creator and towards another human being)- burn with no one to quench it (2nd death).
Those who say they know God but does not keep YHVH's Commandments in their hearts are liars and they hate Him.
      ‭‭1 John‬ ‭2:4‬
[4] Whoever says, I know God but fails to keep and obey His commandments (it's not in their heart to obey them) is a liar, and the Truth [of the Gospel Message, the Way to salvation] is not in him.
‭‭Even Messiah rejects those who do not keep his God and Father's Commandments.
      ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7:21‭-‬23‬
[21] “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom proclaimed in heaven, but he who DOES THE WILL of My Father proclaimed in heaven. (what is the will of YHVH? To have His Law in your heart!)
[22] Many will say to me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name, cast out demons in your name, and done many wonders in your name?’
[23] And then I will declare to them (who rejects YHVH's Commandments), ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you who practice lawlessness!’
A Covenant is like a marriage contract. The Ten Commandments is the Covenant Vow or the Terms and Conditions of the Covenant. How then can anyone be in a marriage contract with the Creator (or be His children or enter His kingdom) when they reject His Covenant Vow that is being offered to them via The Messiah. Messiah is going around handing these out saying take the Covenant Vow and be in Covenant! If you accept, he then stamps it (metaphorically) with his blood (of the Passover Lamb) which "covers" the death penalty of breaking YHVH's Law in first place. This is what he "nailed" to the stake and NOT The Law of YHVH. This is how we are made perfect not that we are perfect or can perfectly obey the Law. This is grace!
      However, Christianity says, no thanks!
      Jeremiah‬ ‭6:16‬ ‭
[16] This is what YHVH says: “Stand at the crossroads and LOOK; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the GOOD WAY is, and WALK IN IT (just as The Messiah did, follow his example), and you will find rest (salvation) for your souls. But you (Christianity) said, ‘We will not walk in it.’
Do not follow Christianity's example. Instead come out of her!

Jesus said that He is the way, truth and life, and that no man comes to the Father but through him. He is NOT just a prophet, or a priest or mediator, He is God manifest in the flesh. In John 8:24, Yeshua says: “For if you do not believe that I am HE, you will die in your sins.”
You rightly site the importance of the law, which is perfect.
But the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, and a mirror that shows us how corrupt and fallen we are - and that we are absolutely incapable of saving or reforming ourselves. It is clear from the history of Israel, the nations, and the Word of God that no man can live up to the standard and expectation of God’s law - which is PERFECTION. And no corrupt flesh can ever achieve God’s perfection … and if you think that you can, or that your efforts (which will at best result in a partial obedience to the law) can justify you in God’s sight, you do not have the love of the truth in you. If the law is to be kept at all, all the law must be kept. And you, like all flesh, sins every day in deed, thought and word.
The only acceptable sacrifice and atonement for sin is acceptance and belief in the finished work of Jesus Christ, who told us that He was the alpha and omega, and plainly stated in John 8:58: ‘Before Abraham was, I AM’.
In Exodus, when asked HIS name, God answered Moses, saying: "I AM WHO I AM”. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: `I AM has sent me to you. '"

@@user-cw3ox2nn5t "according to christian theology" - that right there is the problem. Christians did not write the Bible. The prophets were not Christians and the Apostles also were not Christians. Take this confession of Paul the Apostle for example:
      ‭‭Acts‬ ‭24:14‬ ‭
[14] But this I confess to you, however, that in accordance with The Way (of YHVH, Jeremiah 6:16), which they call a sect, I WORSHIP (serve) THE GOD of our fathers (the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob... he did not say the God Jesus, Abraham did not know a God named Jesus, even Moses was told that God's Name is YHVH forever), STILL persuaded of the truth of and BELIEVING IN and PLACING full confidence IN EVERYTHING LAID DOWN IN THE LAW (of YHVH that was given to Moses) OR WRITTEN IN THE PROPHETS...
This is what Messiah also commanded all who try to follow him:
      ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭23:1‭-‬3‬
[1] THEN Messiah said to the multitudes and to his disciples,
[2] The scribes and Pharisees sit on Moses' seat (as teachers of The Law which all Bible teachers should be doing!).
[3] SO OBSERVE AND PRACTICE ALL THEY TELL YOU (from the book of Moses); but do not do what they do, for they preach (the Law), but do not practice (with all their heart, Law is not written in their heart to obey them).
      ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:17‬
[17] Do not think (if someone or a religion of men comes to you and say) that I have come to do away with or undo the Law (of YHVH) or (His Testimony in) the Prophets; I have come not to do away with or undo but to complete (reveal/teach the Truth) and fulfill them (by walking it out to be an example for many).
      John also warned us...
      ‭‭1 John‬ ‭2:4‬ ‭
[4] Whoever says, I know God (and preach salvation like Christianity does) but fails to keep and obey His commandments IS A LIAR (so do not listen to them), and the Truth (of the Gospel) is not in him.
Christianity says no to the Law, rejects it.
Messiah and his Apostles/disciples on the other hand says keep the Law, a complete opposite.
Christianity and Messiah are not in accord at all!
      ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7:24‭-‬27‬
[24] So everyone who hears these words of mine (like the ones quoted above) and ACTS UPON THEM (obeying them) will be like a sensible man who built his house (his body, heart/mind) upon the rock (with a solid foundation from The Law and The Prophets).
[25] And the rain fell and the floods came and the winds blew and beat against that house (in other words when Judgement Day comes); yet it did not fall (he is not judged), because it had been founded on the rock.
[26] And everyone who hears these words of mine and DOES NOT DO THEM will be like a stupid (foolish) man who built his house (his body, heart/mind) upon the sand (filled with lies, no foundation from The Law and The Prophets because he has rejected them),
[27] And the rain fell and the floods came and the winds blew and beat against that house (Judgement comes), and it fell (he is judged)-and great and complete was the fall of it.
