- In the wake of Cindy Williams' death, celebrities are paying tribute by praising her career and sharing their memories with her. Cindy's 'American Graffiti' co-star, Ron Howard, told ET, 'I saw her last year in Palm Springs at an event and still saw that sparkle in her eyes. It’s so hard to imagine that she’s gone.' Suzanne Somers, Henry Winkler, Michael McKean and Anson Williams also remember their time with the 'Laverne & Shirley' star.

Another very sad loss from our youth. Rest In Peace Cindy ❤️🙏🏻🥺🥺
I was in an acting class with her when she was on the show. She never stopped working on her craft. And she was a lovely, sweet person.
Not only did she have a big heart, but she had a big beautiful smile that made everyone happy along with her comic humor. Cindy will be forever missed. RIP!
They don't make shows like that anymore...All garbage on television today.😭
@@ameliaerin1544 👍retro television shows forever baby 📺
She was a memorable character actor from a time when TV programming was worth watching. Thank you Cindy for all the smiles and HAPPY you brought to ppl. 😊
You mean shows like Three's Company & high quality shows such as that? Lol . Oh yeah such great programming! Many memorable blockbuster shows! Only thing worse than that is the current lineup of crap.
She was a legend. She was very beautiful and a very talented actress. She really was optimistic and positive like her character Shirley. I loved her.She seemed like a genuine and very kind person. You can't fake that.🧡🧡🧡🧡
I'm so sad...I loved her. Laverne and Shirley was part of my childhood.😪
Mine too...a piece of my childhood dies too everytime we lose sitcom stars...there's not much left.🙏✌️❤️
It's so sad to see the stars that made us happy and laugh while growing up pass away. RIP Cindy and Penny, one of the greatest duos of TV history !!!
One of the greatest duos in TV history? You gotta be kidding me! You're putting them in some serious company friend! They were mediocre at best. But that's my opinion. I definitely preferred Cindy to her counterpart for sure. But, RIP Cindy.
@@anthonyangeli256 ..yep..that’s your opinion!!
Laverne & Shirley was one of the highest rated sitcom for many years.
It was hilarious. Miss both Cindy & Penny…😢
R.I.P Cindy 😔🙏 You were such a beautiful, talented, funny woman. My condolences to your family 🙏 God bless you all.

Iconic Ledgend! You touched the world with your talent and kindness. I was so fortunate to meet you and person and bring my Mom to your show in Newton, NC on April 13, 2022. We will forever love you Cindy.
Rest in peace Cindy Williams prayers for Cindy Williams loved ones
she was my fav on the show, so beautiful and super cute. Great talent. I was fortunate enough to meet her in 2002, I gave her a VHS tape of the L&S cartoon, she was so grateful! R.I.P.
I bursted into tears when I heard the news, then my crying turned into laughter once I thought of my favorite scenes from the show. Rest in Peace Cindy Williams and Penny Marshall.
Such a sweet lady - so talented and understated. She was a part of my teen years i treasure! RIP Cindy ❤
Rest in Peace Cindy Williams. Thanks for all you did for the world of television
R.I.P Cindy Williams, she definitely left her mark on this world.
So sorry for the loss of Cindy. Sending love & prayers from my family to her family & friends🙏 Death leaves a heartache no one Can heal. Love leaves a memory no one Can steal🕊
When Ron Howard and Henry Winkler pass away....it will be the end of a monumental era for 1970s ABC sitcom history (to TRY to put it briefly) - the stalwarts Happy Days, Laverne and Shirley, Mork and Mindy, and Three's Company. Cindy is with Laverne, Carmine, Squiggy, Jack Tripper and Mork right now. Wow.
My whole family especially my grandmother loved watching her and other shows back in the day similarly to her shows. R.i.p Cindy.
This makes me so sad. Cindy was my mom's generation. My mom passed 18 years ago. So many legends passing. RIP Cindy! ❤️
I met Cindy briefly when I lived in Austin Texas back in 1987. She was making a film called "Save the Dog" for The Disney Channel when it was still a pay network. She was polite and shook my hand and asked me how I was doing. Such class. I had a real big crush on her when I was a sophomore in high school, so meeting her was a real treat. RIP Ms. Williams.
Thanks for being part of my childhood.Much love Cindy Williams.
This one hit hard. I was always a huge Cindy fan. Of all the original ABC Tuesday night ladies she was my favorite.
I used to watch reruns when I was younger. I’m so sad. The show had been over for nearly 25+ years before I watched it and it became one of my favs. Hopefully penny and Cindy are together, smiling down on their former costars.
Rest in the Light beautiful Cindy 💗
RIP Cindy Williams!
🕯🙏🕯
Gave me so many wonderful comedic moments. L & S was so fresh, so fun. I loved the physical comedy they used a lot, reminded me of Lucy. And Cindy was good at drama as well. I pray her loved ones are comforted with all their great memories. She was a class act. TY Shirl !!
They really were Lucy and Ethel in that respect. Glad the show wasn't a replica of ILL, though.
75... Seems a young age. Rest in Peace beautiful lady. We already miss you 🌹👸❤️
75 is far from young. But I see your point when people are living to see their 90's and beyond. I really liked the show as a kid and teen. Glad to know she was a nice person. RIP.
@@cocoaorange1 thank you for the reply. Enjoyed both "Happy Days" & "Laverne and Shirley". Hugs 😉
and no one stated what she passed away from maybe they don't know
@@rockandroller8352 thought I read or heard on another video, due to an illness but not specific. Thank you

Just recently watched her in “The Conversation“ with Gene Hackman from 1974. Always loved her screen presence!

You were so special...rest easy Cindy Williams.🙏✌️❤️💛💜
Love Cindy, I watch Laverne and Shirley every day on Pluto TV. Both were great actresses who will be missed. Rest In Peace Shirley Feeney!!
RIP Cindy Williams
thanks for the laughter and fun.
L&S was 1 of my all time favorite shows
That moment when her and Howard were walking in the high school gym spotlight as they were in the middle of breaking up as she desperately buries her tears on his shoulder as they dance was absolutely stunning and just made your heart pound. She was a different kind of cute with those gorgeous blue eyes. Poor Cindy.
She was the "older woman". About 5 years difference, I think.
I grew up watching the reruns of Laverne & Shirley on my local station. I also remember as a kid the first run episodes airing on Tuesdays. My Sister and my Cuz would always reenact the intro.
Another part of my childhood gone. RIP
RIP sweetheart. I was raised up on Lavern and Shirley back in the legendary 1970s. Great show, great memories.
I just lost a close friend and he was the same type of person that everyone is describing Ms. Williams kind and gracious

The worst part about growing upin the 70's & 80's is seeing all of your favorites slowly fade into the beyond. I love TV.
GOD BLESS CINDY WILLIAMS! GONE BUT WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN! REST IN PEACE CINDY! LOVE!
Rest In Heavenly Peace Cindy(Shirley)😢❤. Love L&S. Still watch ❣️
I remembered back in the late 80's, Laverne and Shirley was one of my earliest TV shows I'd ever seen. Cindy reminds so much of my mother because they're both were born in 1947. When my mother was in her 30's, she looked just like Cindy with the clothes and hair. When I found out she passed, my heart was down. Rest in peace Cindy ♥️, I hope you enjoy your new world out there.
Rest In Peace Ms Cindy Williams, thank you for your awesome talents as a fine Actress. I love watching your show “Laverne & Shirley “ growing up. You will be missed dearly but your legacy lives on!💕🙏🏽
