I now own this exact car featured in this vid, Love the radiator!
Haha lucky guy I just brought the radiator follow me @sahn.e36
Nice cut at 4:40 right when it gets difficult as hell. Thanks Mishimoto. /s
i don't see how it's hard... i'd just have removed the fan and shroud for this anyways
Buyers pleas remember that Mishimoto radiators advertised for the E36 M3 will only fit the American model E36 M3, not the Euro version M3 as there is no provision for the OEM oil cooler to be fitted on to. You can fabricate some brackets but don't think this will be OEM fitment for a Euro E36 M3 / Evo
Amazing video (Y)
Do You guys have one for BMW 325i (automatic gear box)?
Are the nutserts for an electric fan conversion?
did you bleed the air out of the system? with the bleed valve on the expansion tank. or maybe your motor is burning antifreeze.
i have an 97 m3 but automatic. would it still work?
Do you have anything for e36 models with a built-in expansion tank on the rad?
I noticed the mounts from the chassis to the Mishimoto were pretty loose. Are they not going to snap in nice and secure with these rads?
I noticed you didn't have to remove the engine fan, belts, or water pump, etc?
Would this be the same for my 99 323i? I think I could do this job in a few hours
Liked the video so much I'm buying the rad :)
Thank you for the awesome video! Does this Mishimoto 1992-1999 BMW E36 M3 Performance Aluminum Radiator fit a 1997 Bmw 318is? Thanks ! -Laurence
does this radiator come with the new silicon hoses?
Could this radiator work on the 1.9 z3?
Can this exact radiator fit the e30?
Good to know.
I noticed Mishimoto has universal radiators. Can they fit a Hummer h3 06, 3.5L? THanks
I have been noticing that my mishimoto radiator needs to be refilled every week and a half or so and my oem radiator would last way longer than that why is that? because its aluminum?
do you have a store or a link that i can buy stuff from?
do the hoses come included with the radiator? also how long does this process take?
@MishiM0T0 It has been great. No need to worry about over tightening hose clamps. Glad to finally get that plastic garbage BMW calls a radiator out finally.
Aren't you supposed to drain the engine block and use BMW blue coolant? 🤔
I drained the block as well as the radiator. I notice a lot of videos I've watched, they do NOT do that. I have a 1999 M3, so you need to take the O2 sensor out before you undo the drain plug.
Is this product compatible with the Check Control of the E36? My E36 got Check Control and I dont wan't to lose this "extra" I want to use this....

I have a 1998 bmw 318i e36 and its overheating 1st bought plastic but I just bought an aluminum performance radiator and I was wondering about sri(short ram intake) RN I have a normal intake. I was also wondering what else might be causing the problem besides the thermostat and water pump? If anyone can help I sure need it thanks!
If you have already replaced the thermostat and water pump and continue to have issues you might want to inspect your fan clutch to ensure you are getting proper air flow from your fan.
Hey guys I need your help. The standard cooler on my 98' 328i (manual tranni and AC ) has the overflowtank directly mounted to it's self. i bought the mishimoto and now my problem is that i cant fill in my coolant because there is no filling cap on it and it also only has 2 spots where the hoses are mountet to it (my original one has 3). What do you guys recommend me to do now? what Kind of external tank can i use?
oh and its euro spec aswell
Hey Daniel! Can you please call us at 1.877.GOMISHI or email one of our support specialists at support@mishimoto.com? They will be more than happy to assist you! Stay cool - Team Mishi
that's because the old radiator should have had the old clips still in it not bolts you are supposed to reuse those
I need one for my 92 e36 318i L4 1.8Lt. m42 m3. I can't find anything for it made of all aluminum with a expansion tank.......Help!
Unfortunately we do not carry anything that would be compatible with your vehicle.
Hi, can it be mounted on an e30 with M20B25 engine?
Yes
Can I use this for a automatic 97 m3?
Hello 7abey. This item is for Manual Transmission and Automatic Transmission vehicles. It features threaded rivet provisions for the automatic transmission cooler, so you'll have no issues :)
Can I fit this to a 6 cylinder diesel? 325 tds
Hello, that is unfortunately not one of our confirmed fitments.
dropped one of these in my 525i e34.
Does it fit
Or some fabrication is needed ?
will it fit in the 540 same year range?
Unfortunately, this will not fit the 5 series. Sorry!
Can i use the stock fan clutch?
Yes!
Anybody know the hp/torque upgrade to this?
Hey Bradley, radiators will not add HP unfortunately.
is there a difference between auto and manual
No. Not for cooling system.
nice safety glasses! lol.
We have a universal transmission cooler which can be adapted to your car to work with this radiator. :)
that's not a m3... neither is mine haha
Mishimoto hands down. ebay brand rads dont even come close to having the knowledge of cooling systems as mishimoto does. i mean a rads a rad, but if your gonna replace it might as well replace it with a quality product.
how do i order your product
Hello Make N . The easiest way to set up an order would be right at Mishimoto.com. We have the option for international delivery anywhere in the world.
It dosn’t have the bracket on the drivers side just above the hose connection. Not fit 1995 e36 328i manual then
Hello George, We've been able to verify fitment on the following vehicles. Looks like we just missed the 95 328I.
Fits1995-1999 BMW M3
1998-1999 BMW 323IC/IS
1988-1991 BMW 325I
1992-1995 BMW 325I/IC/IS
1996-1998 BMW 328I/IC/IS
will this fit a 318i
Unfortunately the radiator for your vehicle will be different than the model used in the 6 cylinder cars.
@@mishimoto how about the metal tank expansion
The 318 would actually have the expansion tank built into the radiator, this would prevent you from installing the expansion tank as well
no way $340 dls for the radiator lol i paid 150 for the same shit all aluminum life time warranty..
Доставка в Kyrgyzstan Bishkek yes
Let me guess. Your here because your $8,000 m3 has issues. Welcome to the club
