  • Hey everyone! I know it's been a while, but here it is! The newest entry into the Eyes of series is on director Darren Aronofsky. So, this video was more of a challenge for me to edit, because I've only seen two of his movies (before editing). So I basically watching his films by editing them.
It was fun to cut - but glad to be moving onto my next director who will be (hint) 'much more enjoyable to edit, loves music, dancing and has a VERY unique directing and editing style'
Thank you again for watching, and please send me some constructive criticism so I can become a better editor! I really always appreciate whatever feedback you have. Thank you!
This video was edited in Avid Media Composer

Maybe! I'm doing Baz Luhrmann right now - which will take a while, but always thinking about who to do, thanks for the suggestion! :)

Fantastic work as usual. I have edited an Aronofsky montage in the past (post-"Noah", pre-"mother!"), so I know he's a tricky one to deal with, but this was slick and deft as can be.
Very surprised you didn't hold off until "The Whale," though.

I know! What’s I feel it’s time to be done, I just want to finish it. I felt this was as much exploration as I needed into his work - I’m also excited for the whale!
