Pearl Harbor is a pretty terrible movie overall but those action and aerial scenes are truly incredible. They even look good by today’s standards.
Needs more "Piranha II: The Spawning."

This movie has some of the best cinematography, film editing, directing, and visual effects of all time- once you watch this movie, you’ll walk away completely appreciative of what these men have done for our country. This movie may have been a fictional story, but you have to bear in mind someone had to go and call off the attack going through probably similar scenarios (this movie was based off a real life event where the Germans did retreat and nearly fooled the Allies). This movie will change you, and it deserved so much more at the Oscars although it won big.
Good trailer...but one issue though. The MPA green band. It should say rated R instead of PG-13 because the movie is a full blown F-bomb fest, hence the R rating.

As someone who edited their own Malick montage (twice!), I know the herculean effort it takes to sift through every magnificent frame and try to whittle it down. But you were able to do so incredibly effortlessly. Beautiful choices of shots, impeccable choice of score. Definitely put mine to shame.

Fantastic work as usual. I have edited an Aronofsky montage in the past (post-"Noah", pre-"mother!"), so I know he's a tricky one to deal with, but this was slick and deft as can be. Very surprised you didn't hold off until "The Whale," though.
