  • Hey everyone! I was watching The Rock this week and it just kind of ignited this idea to do a video on every explosion in Michael Bay's long list of movies. It's not a very creative/artistic video - but I just wanted to do it for fun.
These are all what I thought should be considered as explosions, there were other clips of sparks flying e.t.c but I didn't really think some were
explosion-y enough. I also edited the films so they were in the order he made the movies, so that it would kind of show his use of practical/CGI, how big the explosions got, how frequent.
    Thanks for watching!

I heard that some of the explosion sound effects used in Pearl Harbor (2001) were later used for Star Wars The Clone Wars (2008-2020).

Pearl Harbor is a pretty terrible movie overall but those action and aerial scenes are truly incredible. They even look good by today’s standards.

If anything his older stuff looks and sounds better? Maybe cause he was forced to use more practical effects back then. The newer shit all sounds awful and looks terrible too.
