In the newest version of mcreator, there is a new element that allows you to easily create an ore, armour, tools, block and gem for you with basically 0 imput. Extremely useful, but you may have to edit some elements to make it really custom
Pls make a tutorial of how to make custom crafting tables and Items with Inventory (like a backpack)

u can make a material pack and it will make ores, a sword, a pickaxe, a shovel, the ingot and armor. It will do all the recipes for u. u can choos it to be gem, ingot or dust based.

Hey, your tutorials have been quite helpful, I'm just having a problem that the brightness or colormap of my endstone texture of my end ore does not match up with the surrounding endstone, do you know how I can get it to match? Hopefully by some miracle you respond to this lol
The textures and colours in the MCreator textures are slightly different than the original ones, which leads to the problem you’re facing. What you can do would be to download the original end stone texture online, and make your own ore texture based off of the original in another program such as paint.net or Photoshop. Then, when you choose the texture in MCreator, you can select ‘import texture’ and choose the texture that you just made. Let me know if you need any further help or clarification :)
@@ModMonster Thanks for the reply, I originally did get the 1.20.1 endstone textures from the game files and made my ore off of that, but the colour of it is slightly lighter than all of the endstone in the end. This may be to do with that the end biomes have a custom colormap thingy but to be honest I have pretty much no idea what I'm doing when it comes to this stuff. Damn

I am having a problem with my block where I place it down but I cant break or touch it almost as if its just a texture and nothing else
Edit: I fixed it by just remaking the block

Hey mod monster, I have a question. can you make ore drops random, like could my ore drop either diamonds or emeralds randomly, If you could reply that would be amazing thanks!
You definitely could, but I can't test anything right now. I would try making it drop nothing, and then using an "On block break" procedure to randomly pick an item and spawn it at the location of the broken block.

Not sure if you'll see this, but I'm having an error. I'm trying to make the minimal generation height 14 and the maximum generation height -63 as in diamonds but it says "Minimal generation height cant be bigger than the maximal height" and then under it says "Errors were marked on the editor with red colors and error icons so you can locate them and fix them based on the notes here" but theres no red icons or anything. Any help?
The issue is in the error message: your minimum height number is bigger than your maximum number. Your minimum height should be the lowest y level that your ore is able to generate in the world (-63), and the maximum is the highest (12). You just have your two numbers reversed. Hope this helps! :)

The ore is not spawning i tried to search for it very hard but couldn't find it, it's slightly more rare than diamonds, i found a few diamonds but not any of my ore, i even tried making it very common, but still didn't work
I know I'm very late but if you were in that world before making the ore you will have to move to new chunks for it to generate
@@Piokoxer nah mcreator was just broken and also i don't even make mods with mcreator anymore, i make datapacks, i used to make datapacks two years ago but i stopped that time and now i continued again

If we are playing in Survival and there is no recipe for our block, we can't craft it in Minecraft.
When I craft, the crafting ingredients are still in the crafting grid allowing me to make infinite. Is there any way I can fix this?
Yes. There is a check box that you should uncheck that says "leave in crafting table" or something like that.

I can't get smelting to work.
Nvm I got it to work. The blast furnace and normal furnace needs it's own recipe type.
i watched the first part and until now my exe didnt finish the things
i put my ore at 7 times per chunk but with 1 ore in a group i cant find it???????????????????????? womp
