If the "Poor People's Photoshop" is glitching, there is a much easier way to do the armor texture. Go into the resources and click "Create new texture", then "Create armor texture". You'll then have an armor texture that you can easily color.

LISTEN UP! there is an easier way to do the armor texture
You go to resources and then create an armor texture but I'm not done. Then once you create it you look down in armor textures and it will be there, from there one you can edit it in mcreator instead of downloading and having to use an editor

Video fix: Gold tools has higher efficiency. 12 to be exact, while diamonds have 8.
I was also confused because I know that gold tools can mine faster than diamond
i think it is for OLD, this video is old, it is 2 years ago,we are in 2022, and this video is in 2020!

I need help with this, for rhe armor I imported the correct textures, both layer 1 nad layer 2 and when I press save mod element, it says I have not imported a texture even though it is shown.

My Armor texture layer just says that its empty, but it shows the armor that i created in it. what should I do?
for some reason when i use the armor creation it runs into an item stack error in the coding by default ive deleted and made serval new sets the default sets have a coding problem idk how to fix

i imported the armor as a armor texture but it saved as a item texture, and now it is not showing up when i got to try and make it armor.
the only bad thing with this is that the recolor tool recolors everything,and i would recommend coloring the parts you want by yourself bc the armor black parts are light purple

I have a small problem with importing the armor texture. MCreator keeps asking for a file and won't let me select an image.

I am currently making an Armor Texture too (1.16.5), but MCreator has some weird bug that says I didnt import the armor, but it still shows me the texture preview on the properties page.
When i save it, an error pops up and marks the first selection field.
I imported the armor through the resources tab, but it still doesn't work somehow...
yeah this happened to me and I dont know what to do about it should I just restart the program?

for the new update of MCreator go to resources create new texture then click create armor texture its much easier you can put any names

for some reason my armor texture i made wont show up when i search for it in MCreator and i cant get it to work but besides everything else works fine. Anyone know a fix???

I tried to make custom armor from scratch and I didn't use the template, I tried to import it using the resources but I don't know how to add it onto textures, could you please make a video on that? I worked really hard on my designed and I'm trying to surprise my friend with a mod for them.

Nice tutorial but for the armor theres a few errors im getting. The main error im getting is when Im done making my armor and giving it its propertiesm, it wont let me exit without adding a texture even tho I already did. Can I fix this?

How did you make the armor another color? When I try to it just colors the background and armor.
probably you have backround texture set as filled in. Set it to transparent.

I made a texture by recolouring the iron sword and if I start the game the sword doesn't look like the texture that I made!

You just need to locate the file on your computer. It might not be in the same place as mine, but it will show up wherever you saved it, you just need to find out where that is.

The problem is
Even when the png is on my computerfiles
Its not visible on my computer files in mcreator
I put it on desktop and other place on my pc but its missing in mcreator
@@theprinterdude9687 Are you completely sure that you're actually accessing the same directory? When you go to the desktop in MCreator, what shows up? You could also try moving the file somewhere else and see if it shows up there.

but no matter where i put the png
it never sowns up in the mcreator files
i decided to use the default textures because computers hate me and its the only one working
