Here something helpful, call the 75th ranger regiment number and talk to a public affairs officer for the regiment. They will tell you if option 40 is available and stuff. I am 17 and just got an option 40 11x contract!
Dude couldn’t have been more right. A year matters, that is valuable time. Atleast spend that year grassing your commander until he gets you a slot atleast.
Say you get an option 40 contract and go to boot camp with 11x mos, then you don’t make it to the regiment. Is it possible to get reclassified into an mos other than 11B, 11C?

Get an option 40. Train hard bro. I recommend training before joining just bc our schedule can be difficult to maintain.
