@Emmanuel Awosusi 11x is an infantry contract either for 11b, which is a basic rifleman, and then 11c is a motorman.

Could yall touch on what it's like for an E-5 to drop a RASP packet and get to regiment.
I want to get over to Regiment, I'm an 11b and I'm wondering what the transition is like. Will I be ostracized for a while since Regiment like to raise their own?. Would that taper off after a deployment?
The plan is to get my tab before getting to Regiment.
Any response would be greatly appreciated.

Daniel and I went through RASP with some E-5s actually. Process is similar to any school packet really. In terms of how you will be treated it won't be bad. You will get import jokes and some jabs about being in a lesser unit, but everyone is going to make jokes about everyone for something lol. Plus after you have been there a training cycle or two none of that matters. Daniel and I have mentioned it before some of our best leaders in Regiment were imports. I think having experience in other places makes you a more well rounded leader. -Jay
