Realmente esta fantastico, estou ancioso para instalar a nova versão do sistema.
This video literally made Linux my favorite computer crushing windows now-
If you try Kubuntu, you'll get even more impressed.
Do you know Ubuntu 24.10 now has Warty Warthog startup sound and will play it if you reboot or login either due to Ubuntu's 20th anniversary?
@@Romactu got it. Ubuntu developers add “support for playing a startup sound” to GNOME Shell 47, and bring the ”warty startup sound” back, making it part of the Yaru sound pack.
@@Nowtrin Yep, that's right and I'd know that yesterday.
Also, warty startup sound was called warty-startup.oga in /usr/share/sounds/Yaru/stereo/ and that's were you find it.
@@Nowtrin They're doing this just to make it called a comeback.
Some people may never heard that, but if you tried Ubuntu 4.10 compared to Ubuntu 24.10 you may experience what you remember (mostly).
Also, Canonical is announcing to include my own wallpaper which it looks like a brown background with Ubuntu logo at the bottom right of the screen (Instead of the original logo, it's replace with a current Ubuntu logo with 20th anniversary above the world Ubuntu).
Yes, Gnome dock can be set to the bottom and you can resize to the smallest as possible to make it look like Gnome 2 but it's the latest with dark theme on them.
(Make sure the dock is shrunk to the same size as the top bar "Also known as menu bar").
Happy 20 years to me and Ubuntu.
Yes, if you're wonder why they're doing this, I'm the responsible for that because I want to enjoy to see people felt familiar when they first used Ubuntu 4.10 or people that never tried Ubuntu 4.10 will now experience what would Ubuntu 4.10 look like. Remember Canonical celebrated Ubuntu 20 years back in 24.04 LTS? I did but Ubuntu 24.10 is the perfect version to get start for 6 months from October this year to next year's April.
