Endora is the queen of witches.
No one can do an incantation and gestures, like Agnes Moorehead.
She had style and class.
Actually Samantha is the queen of the witches after Tituba passed the crown on
I always love how Endora pops out! Such the diva!!
00:56. Great and sensational actress like Bette Davis and Gloria Swanson. She could ve played the role of Norma Desmond or Margo Channing.
I met with David White at a Denny's several times in North Hollywood CA. Delightful regular guy. Liked his breakfast/brunch.
Lucky.
He was a wonderful character and played the greedy capitalist very well. I know people like him in real life.
I read he was a very nice guy in real life.
I read his heart was broken when his son died in the Lockerbie Pan American airlines bombing. ☹️♥️. His friends said he was never the same after
@@1aikane yea I read that too. So sad that happened.
The first 1:16 of this clip used to be cut in the 1980s syndication prints, which never made sense because they cut out Endora’s spell. You’d just see Wilkerson shaking his head as Larry walked in and you just had to figure someone had done something
How odd lol. Could they not show a spell?
Frustrating.
Henry Beckman also appeared with Agnes Moorehead in The Wild Wild West episode 'The Night of the Vicious Valentine'......Agnes won an Emmy for that role
I wonder if it’s on YT??
Henry also played the terrific Capt Clancey in “Here Come the Brides” a few years later. Great character actor.
It's just not funny with the way he comes down on his mother in law. I would have been very happy to have had such a person in my court.
I agree.
@@dianetheisen8664 - thank you 🙂
Everything Endora does is to break up his marriage.
Just because it helps Darrin out doesn't mean she isn't evil.
Totally agree. I never liked the way he played the part of Darrin, practically every word is yelling... surprised he didn’t have an ulcer or a heart attack. I liked the second Darrin’s approach to things much better
Well, let's face it, all the sound effects were to add sparkle and uniqueness to the sitcom Bewitched. That's what made those arm gestures and twitches stand out. People have to remember, it was a TV show . . . I'm sure if there were really witches and warlocks casting spells, there wouldn't be harps, pianos, bells etc to make their waves of the arms sound like that. There was a crew responsible for coming up with these sound effects.
Having said that, I could get into the fantasy show of Bewitched as much as the next person who like it, meaning I was one. I liked certain sound effects and not so much others in all of the seasons of the show. Season 4 had the most changes and unique sounds of the series. In my opinion, Season 3, 4, 5 & 6 had the best, as well as the best episodes. Of course, though, to each his/her own.
One sound effect I always thought was silly was the one they used in scene transitions, that kind of hi pitched eeeeekkkk sort of sound. I did like some of those psychedelic synth sounds they used later.
agreed . I didn't like the sound effects they used in seasons 7&8
La sorcière bien aimee nous manque c etait que du bonheur surtout en ce moment 😁🥰👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I love Endora
Good episode.

Getting tired of these trolls on these channels. Thank you ❤️
I did...I hate that gobbledygook nonsense
Just did!
@@Deb_InMiami 😂😂😂
WHAT???? What in the world are you talking about???
I have to say, Darrin had integrity. He wanted to accomplish things on his own.
Loved Henry Beckman in this!
☺ it's so funny
5th Love Bewitched.... notice at .38 seconds...when ENDORA Appears with Sound affect / but when she waves her arms to make him FREEZE to cast her spell.....No sound affect..?! BLOOPER?
I didn't care for most of the sound effects (and also the music) in Season 3. I think from late Season 4 to the end they were great.
@@02chevyguy agreed..the sound Effects "Matured" as the show got older....I never liekd when they appeared and disappeared in a puff of smoke....that was cheezy...I prefer poppin in and out
@@02chevyguy I felt the same way! They didn't seem to get a really good handle on those sound effects until later.
It felt like it yes. We were missing sound there.
But Agnes still rocks her incantation and hand gestures. Just a brilliant Shakespearian actress.
IRL, there would be no sound effects at all, if you think logically about it. Why would any magical being want to put themselves at risk of discovery by a mortal by making all kinds of goofy, unnecessary sounds?
The effects were strictly for the viewers, so we'd know something "magical" had just been done, or was about to be done. In true witchcraft, if it existed, there would also be no need for spoken-out-loud incantations---the performer of same would merely need to think of the words, and maybe do a slight hand wave, again not calling unwanted attention to themselves.
Ti auguro la buonanotte Marco un bacio pieno di passione sulle tue belle labbra
In this episode, Darrin is right. Endora meddled. Some have said, so what? Endra helped him. Well, look at it from Darrin's point of view and what he told Sam in MOTHER MEETS WHAT'S HIS NAME. He says he just wants to live a normal life and wants to support his family. Sam agrees.
This is a theme of BEWITCHED, the work ethic. Sam learned this and came to love doing things the mortal way, like painting or cooking or the thing people love, dollar day. 🙂
Later, Sam will remind Darrin that Endora doesn't care for mortals. This was one moments when Endora told Maurice to bring Darrin back in JUST ONE HAPPY FAMILY. In TRICK OR TREAT, Sam chastised her Mother for the way she treated Darrin.
The scene I love in this episode is when Sam enters the painting and retrieves the campaign material. Elizabeth is so lovely in that outfit.
That was a creepy advertisement poster!
It's interesting that larry is always talking about millions to be made but yet Darin is always struggling financially and professionally.
Shut up Larry, just shut up !!
Love the Larry Tate character.
awe I wanted to hug Mr.Tate T_T
I didn’t ,Larry was always in it for himself ,he even had darrin use his family for his gain .
I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON
AND YOU WOULD THINK YOU WOULD KNOW BETTER THAN ME,
BUT DON'T YOU THINK SHE DID IT, BECAUSE SHE KNEW YOU WOULD ACT THAT WAY ???
🤨
This is not a good transfer. It sounds like it was recorded straight from the TV.
Sorry but I dont like Darin attitude towards Sam. He is always shouting to her.
Then why do you watch?
@@yakky6052 who are you? Why do I have to you an explanation?
@@gwtwvivien - chill out, it was just a question...
@@yakky6052 Chill out? Lol. You makes me laugh.
@@gwtwvivien thats good. We all need a laugh now and again. My question was not a challenge. Was just a simple question. Thats all. Because I only watch things I enjoy, not dislike. So wondered why you were watching something you disliked.
MCP
Why doesn't Endora don't like Darrin
He's a "mere mortal," not someone magical. She dislikes most mortals just on principle.
Why do.think I want to see these little clips. I love Bewitched, but I want to see whole episodes. Why are you so stingy?
