Fun project -- actually like the orientation/layout for directional patterned paper, so the receiver can read/see the words and pattern in the right direction when they open the purse and look inside. I may do this (with a modification) -- add a score/fold line at the top of the sheets, to fold over and adhere to make a folded top edge [more sturdy], rather than a "single" thickness of paper (raw edge). Can be adjusted to different sizes to fit/match its intended use!! Thank you for sharing this.
Omg i love it i finished my 1st one last night and i just need to put the handles and one or 2 embellishments on my 2nd one so im goin thru my craft stash to see wht i got. MY buttons for the little handle part are small ones so it wouldn't look right lol but this momma is bound to find something cute. I just love this bag and the 1st one i seen where u used only one piece of paper and sides and front went different directions the one where u said. U kept seeing them being made everywhere and u wanted to figure out and easier way using one sheet lol I've made 3 of those..see wht you do to us your so good at what you do..you make us addicted 😂 or at least me 😂😂 thank you for sharing your skills i love these cant wait to make a bunch for xmas and im gonna see how i can make one a little more manly lol
I've used a swivel blade for years and love it!! I used to do leather craft and when cutting sides of leather, it was much more comfortable for me to use the swivel blade (craft knife) as opposed to a straight blade. I've got my old silver color one from leather crafting that has a shorter different angle blade, and the orange handle one like you are using. I use them now in my paper crafting projects for the same reasons I used them in leather craft; they give more control as well as allow a more even pressure than scissors or straight blades. I like very much to watch you craft.
Love this purse made two of them. I have lots of beautiful paper that is 8-1/2 x 11”, can you please help me with the measurements for the bottom of the purse, your help would be greatly appreciated . Thank you.
Great video !!! ... Maybe putting Santa upside down is an advantage, because if you look into the bag you'll see him right - you did it on purpose, didn't you ??? ;-) Hi from Germany
May May Awesome tote love it 🥰 Lone Wolf what may may said and do you mean the green closure? if so ...instead of glue dots on the closure you can add Velcro dots or magnets. That way you can open/close multiple times without wearing out the stickiness on glue dots or ripping the cardstock. Hope this helps 😀
They are absolutely beautiful 😍
So cute and looks really easy to make

😊
Love it!❣
This is amazing, such possibilities! Thank you for sharing your creativity. Merry Christmas
How are the 3 velcro dots sticking to just the paper? How do you open and clise the purse?
Hi, yes the velcro sticks to the paper, you just undo the velcro flap and open the purse, thanks
Great video !!! ... Maybe putting Santa upside down is an advantage, because if you look into the bag you'll see him right - you did it on purpose, didn't you ??? ;-) Hi from Germany
I literally thought the same thing!!! Lol
Very cool. Is that a cardboard grade paper?
Are you asking about the pattern paper? Or the handles? Thanks
What size are the handles?
Thank you.. so how do we open and close the purse since both sides of the handles are glued?
The purse open in the middle. The handles are glue to the outsides.
May May Awesome tote love it 🥰

Can the paper be 12x12? I would like to o be a little taller
Hi you probably can use 12x12 for the purse, if you try it let us know how it turns out, thanks
@@tamthaluehrs will do
Hi. I tried the 12x12 bag. Unfortunately, it wasn't presentable. It was a little goofy.
What size circle?
Hi we used a 6" circle for the handles, thanks
